Plot Summary: Bocchi Hitori, a girl with extreme social anxiety, has had only one friend throughout elementary school. When Bocchi learns they’ll be split up after graduation, she makes a promise to her: “By the time of my middle school graduation, I’ll make friends with everyone in my class.” And if she can’t do it they won’t be friends anymore. But Bocchi has a hard time talking to people. When she gets nervous, her legs cramp. She can’t look other people in the eye. She doesn’t even know how to make friends. Every way she thinks of to make friends ends up failing.

So, the teacher thinks Hitori is the secret gang leader!! LOL I love the way Oshie thinks! I also have a feeling that Hitori may grow up to be a teacher exactly like her.

I really enjoyed Hitori’s song at the end. I am guessing it was her “school of laughs” theme song. It sounded a little evil, and also sounded like she was ready to take over the world!! Loved it!

Another cute anime!

Even if the poor girl faints and gets sick when she tries to make friends, she did very well over the course of the series. So, she wasn’t able to make friends with everyone in her class, but she did manage to make a few good friends. Quality over quantity!

Perhaps someday, she will also gain a little more confidence in herself. At least I hope so!
