An anime adaptation of Cool Kyōshinsha’s four-panel web manga I Can’t Understand What My Husband Is Saying (Danna ga Nani o Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken) has been green-lit for this year. The manga follows the daily life of an earnest, hardworking office lady named Kaoru and her otaku husband, who is totally immersed in a certain huge net bulletin board system.
Cool Kyōshinsha serializes the manga online, and Ichijinsha will publish the fourth compiled book volume of the manga on June 27.
The official website for the anime adaptation of Cool Kyōshinsha’s four-panel web manga I Can’t Understand What My Husband Is Saying (Danna ga Nani o Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken) opened this Friday and announced that Yukari Tamura (Kill la Kill’s Nui) and Kenichi Suzumura (Senyū’s Foifoi) will star as Kaoru and Hajime, respectively. The two will also perform the show’s theme song as their characters. The series will premiere in October.
