“We really thought that title would have a bit more legs to it. It was from the same guy who did Death Note, but just because it was the same guy doesn’t really mean a whole heck of a lot.”

Maybe Natalie Rial is in it???

She just announced she’s in a new role, but couldn’t mention what it was!

KANOKON BLU RAY!!!

Yes. I already ordered the limited edition version of it!!!

This one:

The crazy thing is it’s only $20 more than the regular release:

John was saying that he doesn’t want to undercut other stores that carry his products, which I do understand, but the LE has a shirt and a poster, as well as the alternate artwork sleeve.

Why is that crazy? CR Ltd Ed are about $20 more as well unless it has a gimmick to it. ( Like the suitcase for Frieren’s)

I guess I’m used to seeing the sets closer to the $80-90 range for LEs.

Still would have gotten it at that price.

Though everyone here probably already knows that. Lol.

KANOKON original release was 2008.

And I think a lot the Anime industries, consider price their earlier years anime titles a bit lower pricing for their re releases, than their currentup to date anime series. Even if their re release title have a bluray or a exclusive LE versions.

This is somewhat true, as rereleases do tend to be cheaper than their original releases.

However, this is the first time Kanokon has gotten a Blu Ray in the US!

All other releases have been DVD or that “lovely” DVD-R that Media Blasters decided to do. (Memories of Ladies Vs Butlers, aka the show that made me get a Blu Ray player to begin with…)

I think only the KANOKON DVD has a dubbed version.
And the bluray is like a Japanese Sub of the original release in the US.

And the anime industry might send out a Dubbed bluray depending on the sales of the new KANOKON Subbed bluray sales?
