This Gundam has the problem that it seems like a self-parody. I’m not surprised that these type of Gundam shows don’t have the appeal of the other Gundam.
I do wish that animation studios would stop trying to cel-shade their CG so that it looks like hand drawing as it isn’t fooling anyone and it looks really bad IMO.
one of these days, I’m going to sit down and watch something Gundam all the way thru. Tried watching the original (first time watching anything Gundam) some time ago, stopped halfway thru ep. 5.
