Has it been worse than DVD quality yet? Any interlaced video (ewww) snuck through to the bluray?

Hmmm…
Yes . The ones released up to June look to have frame rate problems that are causing ghosting and interlace issues . I would say they look like a direct VHS to DVD port ,but other stuff looks good . Good news is people that have gotten Those That Hunt Elves early from what I’ve been hearing the interlace and ghosting issues are not there . Won’t have my copy to next month to know for sure .
Since I decided not to cancel and reorder the other stuff should be getting Orphen , Sakura Wars , and Those that Hunt Elves next month so I’ll watch a few episodes when they come and let everyone know if the issue is fixed .
Hopefully Sentai ,but could be Funimation .

Considering I have the DVD set with the weird glitch in the opening credits, I will probably pick this up in the future.
Also, I’m really keeping my fingers crossed that Sentai nabs the new show.
My SDBD set should be here Monday . Hopefully it turns out better then Sakura Wars . I’ll let everyone know .
Got my set in the mail today . Went to the wrong post office yesterday .
I did a quick skim the video to me looks fine . There is some very minor issues ,but they are no where near as bad as previous SDBD’s from Sentai and Maiden Japan . It’s watchable without being jarring . Second season looks a bit better then the first . Now I i only skimmed the 1st and last episodes of each season . Watching on a HDTV with a older Sony Blu-Ray player so a computer might tell different .
