Mobile Police Patlabor - New Files OVA Series - Volume 1 - CPM
Kodacha TV Series - Volume 1 - Funimation
I already had a volume of Kodacha, but it was the second one. I saw the first few episodes on VOD years ago. Patlabor is a series I’ve been meaning to check out for awhile now. I hear the dub is bad, so I’m sort of afraid to invest in those box sets. If I enjoy these first few episodes, I’ll buy both box sets for the TV series (and the other two singles for the OVA series) online down the road a little. But for $3.00 they were giving the thing away. Even if I don’t like it, it’s alright at that price. I didn’t have a lot of money to spend today anyway, and I didn’t see many things I really wanted (that were cheap). I have some money stashed away for the “Welcome to the NHK” singles I was eyeing at FYE, if they are still there I’ll be picking them up this weekend. Now the problem is how to get volume 6…

Just ordered to complete Air Gear (2) and Le Chevalier D’Eon (1), plus one more Princess Yucie (5) and one more Best Student Council (1). To that I added Desert Punk 1 and 4, Speed Grapher 1, School Rumble 5 and 6 and To Heart 3. I have School Rumble 1, 3 and 4 now but haven’t looked at them yet, on Desert Punk I have 5 and 6 same deal haven’t looked at them yet. That gives me about 3 series I’m two short on and at least two I’m one short on. Still a lot of deals out there if you look, I picked up a few things for the summer flea market season while I was at it. At an average of $3.12 per it’s hard to go wrong.

Well since six was a online only deal best and only place as of now to get it is like this: Welcome to the NHK DVD 6 (Hyb): 6th Conspiracy. 73 left as of now.
If you order during the funimation sale to the 11th and use the coupon " fallinlove " you can get it for $17.99 before shipping. Shipping is about $3.00 but given this is the only place to get it that is fair.
You can use money orders from them or if you can get one of those Visa or Mastercard gift cards you should be able to use it.
Been using Rightstuf for years and never had any issues.
I really don’t think it will be popping up used like the other volumes seem to be. I think a lot of people did not know about the volume six online only deal and just got the sets and got rid of the singles.

Where can I get these “Visa or Mastercard gift cards”? At this point I think that’s the only way I’m going to be able to get the last volume. I’ve had a visa giftcard before, but it was given to me. Do they work just like credit cards on rightstuf? Are 100% sure they will work for ordering anime online? I don’t want to buy one and have it not work :(, that would suck. Then I’d just be stuck using it at B&M stores, or for food or something. I’ve used Rightstuf before, but I don’t have a credit card, I’ve used other people’s cards. I could also try and convince my father to let me use his credit card, but I have a feeling he won’t let me. I also have rightstuf’s Spring Catalog. It came in the mail, any idea how that works? it says I can order things through the mail… Ugh…what shall I do…what shall I do?

I am glad I double dipped on Pumpkin Scissors, the series artbox from ADV looks much nicer than the two Funimation sets. Even though the singles take up more room, I really like the artbox

I believe they work just like a credit card as long as they have the normal number set up.

I’ve had my Visa debit card linked to my bank account to use so not had to use gift cards or money orders in so long.
Someone over at AOD in the Rightstuf FAQ might be able to help more as well.

Don’t see why it wouldn’t. That would depend completely on that businesses public relations.
