If you have a checking account, ask your bank for a debit card. I’ve had one since college, they work like a credit card, in fact mine with Bastards Of… err, Bank Of America the only real difference in a store is if you tell them debit you have to enter the code on a keypad, if you tell them credit you have to sign a receipt - and some places you don’t have to sign anymore unless it’s over $20 or $25.
My checking is totally free, just have to keep some money in it. I have the number on the card linked to Paypal, have used it with RightStuf, buy gas with it, etc etc etc - I can even check the balance online.
My latest order will be here tomorrow, it went through the bulk mail center yesterday about 1:00 and I thought it might show today, but no such luck.

Well, if there was any doubt, some of the stuff on the RightStuf bargain list is most definately Best Buy sendbacks; three of the ones I got had BB stickers right on them, including one of the two-pack sets I nabbed (two originally $29.98 list DVDs for $4!). Of course I look today and had I waited I could have completed another series, but what the heck.
I wonder how that works, does Best Buy send them to the original distributor who re-sells them, or do they go to one common place and get resold/reshipped from there, as they came in?

If I remember right it use to be companies would tell the stores to lower the cost and pay them the difference from the wholesale cost per unit since its less of a loss then having the stuff shipped back.
But now I think its more along the lines of what you said about them getting sent back to the distributor then the lot is sold off wholesale to a interested part. In this case being RSI.
I’ve gotten cases with stickers from FYE/Suncoast and Best Buy.
Use to be RSI would cover them up with a sticker.
Yeah, I peeled an RSI sticker off one so I could put it in my flea market stuff and found an FYE type sticker under it.
I think the irony has to be that some of the stuff I got wholesale on eBay had FYE stickers on them - that I turned around and sold them used a couple copies of for credit to pick up some of the Funimation bargain titles.

(Yawara is one of the very few series that I will buy without a dub. I wanted to see this show for a long time, and I’m just glad I finally can. Still I know it will just sit on my shelf for months without being watched, because I hate subs. Same with Dokuro-Chan, still haven’t finished that series, and it’s very short. I really need dubs. The price for Yawara was also very high, which is why I put off buying it for awhile. It’s only sub only, it’s ganna sit on my shelf and collect dust until I get the willpower to strap my self in for the ride, so I couldn’t justify spending too much on it. Luckily I used a lot of coupons so it didn’t hurt my wallet too badly.)
(Princess Tutu is something I’ve wanted to buy for a long time now, since it first aired on Anime Network all those years ago. Very glad I can finally finish it now. The box set was mega cheap too!)

Order tonight cybuster volume 3-6. Right stuff had them in bargain bin for 5 each and I just got done watch 2. I wanted to get the rest before they run out of copies. I might get the appleseed dvd adv is putting out because of the fix on audio. I already have geneon one. Yawara is one I am going to try and pick up at Anime Next in a couple of weeks. Princess Tutu has been one of those on the fence for me to pick up box set.
