I wanted to get my hands on Gun Frontier ever since it aired on AN two years ago. Since the series went OOP years ago, I couldn’t find anything below $ 100, which is way too much than I was willing to pay. Right Stuf finally put the series on clearance. The price for the whole thing ? Fifteen bucks. Patience really is a virtue after all :lol:
It was also the first time I bought their “Blind Box” items. I hadn’t bought enough for free canadian shipping and, since shipping was going to cost me more than $ 20 anyway, I decided to give it a shot. So I got Saiyuki Complete Collection for $25 and Boys Be… for $10.
…I don’t know. I kinda shrieked in horror when I first saw the Boys Be… box art but then I saw it was a Nozomi release. I have yet to be disappointed by one of their releases so I guess I shouldn’t judge the series by its cover. I’m not all that familiar with Saiyuki but that’s what a blind purchase is for
Have others bought Blind Box items? If so, what did you get?

Really not a lot I want from Funimation anymore. Least not until they get the Geneon and Tenchi stuff figured out or get more One Piece. Corpse Princess I’m going to wait until the 2 parts go cheaper which should be sooner or later.
I won the one of the second prize pack in Funimation’s find vash contest. I won Trigun Movie DVD version, Complete Collection, plus poster. Also I got a family member to order for me for christmas .hack/sign complete collection. One of last copies of it from Right Stuff.

Unfortunately, when my set arrived from Amazon disc 2 was loose and badly scratched. I have to try it out and see if it plays properly. Apparently this has happened to several others and it seems enough of them have complained to Amazon that the product is now under review and can’t be ordered at the moment.
