As for me, I just got the Mardock blu-ray. This version makes more sense (and really is raunchier), though part of that might be because I’m rewatching the blu-ray solo and not LMAO while group-watching it.

Yeah but they don’t have much. Enough though for me to come back again and grab some others in the future. They had some Miyazaki titles I wanna get. I also discovered the FYE at the mall has a hoard of anime. (2 big shelves worth. Prices aren’t the greatest for some titles but they have Bandai, FUNimation, Sentai Filmworks, you name it that are pretty good. When I have the money I’m going after those too. I get sick of buying everything online.
One of my friends despises buying stuff online and is all about these “Brick and Mortar” stores, though he has started using RightStuf lately. I thought he was the only one.
I went into an FYE while waiting for a movie to start a while back, and I noticed that they had a huge selection of anime titles, especially older titles (I was shocked to learn that malls still indeed exist). They even had a ton of stuff that RightStuf and other online stores do not. I could finally get the Viz-bundled Ryuk figure for Death Note there, for example. They also still have Generator Gawl, which is one of the first ADV and Foster shows I saw. Also something that a fan at Katsucon 2011 swore Vic Mignogna wasn’t in…
Though I think the reason that all the titles are still there is because the FYE still has all the shows priced as though this were 2001.
Best Buy is a large chain corporation that sells electronics, CDs, DVD/BD and such. If you haven’t heard of it then it’s probably not a completely national chain although they’re all over here and I’ve seen them in lots of other states as well. The website probably has a store locator function somewhere that you could use to see if there’s one where you are. Similarly we have no FYEs where I am.
