SYNOPSIS: In a world where civilization has run its course, where the mechanics of society have failed, a chosen few are still born with the ability to dream. Forced to run when her father blocks her visions of becoming an artist, Hiyoko finds herself drawn into a strange tent city set up in the ruins of an abandoned stadium, a place the residents call The Asylum. It is in this shadow community, were she meets other gifted youth, including the mysterious Akira, that she finds herself and her purpose. When profiteering officials and police plot to tear the Asylum down, destroying their last sanctuary, Hiyoko and the other refuges choose to fight back rather than flee. But rather than resort to weapons, their unexpected challenge is to create a street festival, using art and culture to win the hearts of the people: a festival they call the Asylum Session.

Be picking up all except Special A since I have the two parts sets.

Didn’t like Clannad at all.
Didn’t really like Special A all that much either.
Know next to nothing about Asylum Session.
And I want to see Needless first, or at least a little bit of it, before I make a decision on it.

So, it looks like nothing for me.

I’ll definitely get Needless and Asylum Session looks to be a good price point that I could easily blind buy at.

And here’s hoping that Eyeshield 21 and Gintama are just on another break so that Sentai can license more episodes of them rather than them ending their time here.

I will definitely be picking up Needless and After Story, but I already have Special A in the half sets. As for Asylum Session, it sounds interesting, but the animation style leaves a bit to be desired. I’m still undecided, but given the affordable price I might grab it anyway.

I’ve enjoyed what I’ve seen of Needless so far and the dub is solid.

After Story definitely, Special A most likely, but I can only spend so much on anime at any one time.

Clannad A.S. - Yes…
Needless col. 2 - Yes…
Special A - Nah, I’ll pass…

Asylum Session - Not sure…maybe…

Getting Clannad After Story is a no-brainer.

I don’t think Sentai ever did a re-issue of two sub-only half-sets since all of their re-issues were with an added dub version. Buying Special A is really tempting since I thought the series was great when it first aired on AN, but this release reeks of "We’re not thaaaaaat convinced yet of making a dub for S.A. so here’s another release just to be sure ".

Hell, I’m all for the success of any DVD release but this is kind of odd.

Actually, they also re-released Princess Resurrection and YUA Season 2 in complete sets.

Clannad After and Needless vol. 2 will be on my buy list.

FINALLY!!! The collections are starting to become complete. I’m NOT buying 2 parts. I’ll be jotting down the Special A Complete Collection on my “to buy” list promptly.

Am I glad I waited.
