I put a little aside for this in my Summer Anime funds which is pretty much spent now with this and the Funimation sale from a few weeks ago. I think I got enough to get two things from September if the listings make it before the end of the sale. I’m also passing on more Gintama for now. Going to wait to the next sale sometime around Christmas if the schedule holds up. I’d have gotten Gintama ,but if I had not pre-ordered Toradora set 1.
I have been saving up for this as well, and I actually have enough to cover what I wanted to get, but sadly, it’s in cash.
I haven’t gotten a chance to go to the bank yet to open a new account for just myself.
I was also kinda hoping the new Blue Drop Complete Collection (Hyb) would pop up on pre-order before a sale popped up too, so I could get everything I wanted all in one go rather than piecemeal. Looks like I’ll have to wait for the next one to pop up, by that time, I should have my new card though, and hopefully the new BD set will be on pre-order.
Now, what to buy? I’ve about convinced myself that I would rather have ADV copies of Full Metal Panic & FUMOFFU before they are all gone. Hmm, what else this time? Decisions, decisions…

Their sale on stuff ends on Sunday. Clannad would probably be ok to order from them because of the really secure hub this stackpak uses ,but anything else its going to carry a major risk of floaters. Plus man Deepdiscount free shipping seems to be getting handled by a snail. 3 weeks for something that would have taken 4 days from most other places.

I don’t really think I will get anymore. Added some more cash to my funds ,but if anything will probably wait to see if September’s releases get announced and listed before the end of the sale. I’d have had more but the sale took so long to happen I found other ways to get the June titles.
Imagine that. A Section 23 sale the week Clannad hits the shelves.
I actually have a quite a bit I want to grab from this sale, including Sentai and Switchblade titles. I was trying to save some cash, but I will need to scrape together some money.

I ordered Clannad on Sunday with free shipping, shipped on Monday and I got it in the mail Thursday. The box was very secure. I don’t see why floaters would happen any more then it would with any other company.

Last order I got from them and the orders of others took about 22 days min to arrive some had to report them lost in the mail. Also that order was in a vinyl envelope with this cheap plastic tray that reminded me of those cheap trays they put in the dollar store toys only covering one side. Clannad being a little bigger I’m not surprised they sent it in a box. Rightstuf while floaters are still quite possible they are a lot less likely because of the loving packaging job they do. Not shopped at Roberts in a while so don’t know if they are still doing things the way they were 3 to 4 years ago. If all Deepdiscount orders shipped in at least a cardboard sleeve box it it’d be good ,but there varied packaging really makes it a gamble I’m not willing to really take to save a dollar or two. With Samurai Harem and Hell Girl S2 Set 1 they were over a 20.00 savings it was far more worth the risk. Samurai Harem which shipped first came in a box , but Hell Girl came is this horridly cheap shipping packaging I’ve not even seen ebay or Amazon Marketplace sellers use.
Now to be fair part of the blame for Hell Girl disc 2 being a floater lays with whomever the chooser of the cases is for Sentai. Since they’ve switched to the newer double packs I’ve had like 4 floaters though since the ones with the newer hubs I’ve only had one that was seriously scratched. I another slight bit of blame for floaters lay with the mail service as well. They are very rough with stuff.
I was going to make one huge order, but I wanted to do that on my own bank account, which I haven’t gotten a chance to get yet, so I decided to split it up, part for this sale, and the rest for next sale.
