With today at a close and a couple more possibles announced, it’s time to make another round up for Sentai possibles.
Given this recent tweet from yesterday ( https://twitter.com/Sentaifilmworks/status/453645370598232064 ) there is indeed a chance that there’s more than the initial 8 ( https://twitter.com/Sentaifilmworks/status/449651130805399552 ) that they copped to.
Media Factory (pretty assured unless their pattern has changed)
● No Game No Life
Kadokawa (2 Kadokawa titles now on CR, they might actually have both or just one)
● Chaika -The Coffin Princess-
● Dai-Shogun - Great Revolution (also streaming in AU)
Showgate (the Showgate titles are questionable given the recent history of them, so I’ll list them “most likely” to “least likely” currently)
● Broken Blade TV Edition (for obvious reasons)
● Kamigami no Asobi (Sentai really seems to like otome adaptions & Showgate is a main supplier of those for them)
● Is the Order a Rabbit? (another super cute series also streaming in Taiwan)
● Black Bullet (don’t know much about this one, so I guess it’ll go here also streaming in France & Germany)
● The Comic Artist and Assistants (it’s a 13 minute series, so it’s last also streaming in Taiwan)
ntv (they have a slight history with ntv, with their Gatchaman Crowds license)
● La corda d’oro -Blue Sky-
● The World is Still Beautiful
YTV (they have a slight history with YTV, with their Hiiro No Kakera & Space Brothers licenses)
● The File of Young Kindaichi Returns
● Brynhildr in the Darkness
● MAGICA WARS
NHKEnterprise (they have a slight history with NHKEnterprise, with their Log Horizon license)
● Baby Steps
The rest that are currently on CR, they have no previous CR history with licensing from them.
So I’ll list them separately.
Dentsu Tec
● Blade and Soul
Seven
● Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san (3½ minute episodes)
Shochiku
● Captain Earth
Toei Animation
● Rowdy Sumo Wrestler Matsutaro
● Majin Bone
Warner Japan
● JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure
And the rest are either licensed by other R1 companies or accounted for or are children’s series and live-action.
There’s still some more to come on CR as well, but at this point, almost everything is accounted for (or skipped).
There’s really isn’t much left, only 2 series that haven’t aired and are unaccounted for.
-neither of which do I have the foggiest idea of who holds international rights-
-
Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky (starts in -1 day & the YT PVs are posted by GustCorporation which is the Game IP holder)
-
M3 ~Sono Kuroki Tetsu~ (starts April 21 so it’s probably too early to tell & the YT PVs are posted by M3-project, with YT music PVs/CMs posted by Flying Dog since they do the music production, but are actually the same 3 posted to M3-project)
