You know I’m surprised that Funimation didn’t press for simuldub on this since they’ve technically cast 2 of the characters in this show. (Both appear in the Strike Witches movie)

That might be the very reason that they aren’t simuldubbing this, those 2 VA’s may be in something else they are simuldubbing and they can’t squeeze Brave Witches in. Of course the simuldubs are a logistical nightmare anyway.

It also may be a case where CR only has Streaming rights and Funi will have to negotiate for Home Video Rights separately. Basically they’ll be in the same boat as Sentai when it comes to Kadokawa titles.

True, just because CR and Funimation are cooperating doesn’t mean that negotiating with the production companies will get any easier, might even make it a bit harder in some cases.
