Seems to me their doing what many were saying late ADV/early Sentai were doing: what’s the saying again…“throw everything against the wall and hope something will stick.”

Rember that the 3 carry over titles count towards that total. Still 17 new titles seems like a lot and no guarantees that every new title is an Anime.
They should have 6 carryovers (5 if we don’t count Nagato Yuki-chan)

Even with Toei getting into streaming their titles for simulcast on CR relatively recently, there’s a possibility that they may hold on to their cash cow for a bit.
So it might not make it into simulcast state.
definitely, I can even see Toei use DBS as their reentry into the American market; another AoA or PCUSA perhaps.
Funi could also pass up Aquarion this season like they did with Fafner last season.
I don’t know how well the Aquarion series did for them, but I could definitely see that.
Speaking of which, if that happens, this will be the first season in a few seasons Sentai has picked up a Media Factory title (Non Non Biyori Repeat), I wonder if they’ll sweep the rest of the Media Factory titles this season and snag Overlord
