The official website for The Comic Artist and His Assistants television anime announced that each home video release will include a “mini OVA” (original video anime). The series will be released in six monthly Blu-ray and DVD volumes between June 25 and November 26.

Each volume will include two anime episodes, the mini OVA, a bonus CD with character songs and mini drama, two ending card illustrations, and a four-page booklet of liner notes. The volumes will come in Digipak packaging with cover art drawn by character designer Hitomi Tsuruta.

Customers who purchase through retailer Toranoana can enter to receive two “Man-Assi Radio” special edition CDs. The store chain will also offer a limited edition set with the first volume that includes an exclusive Visual Fan Book anthology. Animate and Gamer stories will offer two exclusive special cases to hold the DVD or Blu-rays.

Sentai Filmworks will first release the series digitally and then on home video in North America. Crunchyroll began streaming the series on April 7.
