Only a textless opening? IMO, several of those things aren’t extras.
The booklet can provide a transcript of the interview, that’d be convenient, but the interview really ought to be a video one on the disc. Otherwise, it’s not much of a selling point as the text is Google-able.

The Irregular at Magic High School - Eps 1-26
I was really worried when this started that it was going to be about magical girls. (not my favorite genre)
Pleasantly surprised that it was much more than that.
Besides the fact that there was a lot of reading of technical jargon, I enjoyed the stories & the characters.
Found it quite strange that the Crimson Prince & Cardinal George were introduced as seemingly Evil characters, but after Tatsuya defeated them in the Monolith Code competition, they were just accepted as friends and allies. Must be some extra back-story we didn’t get to see.
It seems that a lot of bad folks like to attack High School students and steal their stuff. Luckily, the highschoolers know how to defend themselves. (Seriously, don’t they get to be teenagers at all?)
And what happened with Zhou Gongjin? The long-haired guy who made Chaiki lose her memories and the one who helped Lu Gonghu escape going to prison? He pretended to be an ally, but had that little evil smirk at the end.
All the weapons and toys were pretty impressive for being designed by teenagers.
Tatsuya’s personality really suffered for his enhanced magical abilities, but it did cause some humorous situations. His sister really needs to see someone to get over her “Oni-sama” issues.
We really need another season.
