About time. CBS hasn’t known what to do with CSI for years now, especially Cyber. IMO they could’ve rejuvenated the franchise years ago if they’d cast Ted Danson to replace Grissom right off the bat.
Sadly, it doesn’t look like CBS believes that part of CSI: Cyber’s failing was due to its ridiculously terribad portrayal of technology, as Scorpion is just as ludicrous as ever lol. Maybe they could go “meta” and have The Big Bang Theory cast make cracks about Scorpion’s tech lapses? I’d watch that.
I’m glad that Elementary got renewed. It has been pretty “on point” this season. Hopefully it’ll get out of the awful Sunday timeslot, though SNF is arguably less annoying for shows than TNF.
that just means it joins a long line of cyber/virtual shows that didn’t make it…

In its defense, I thought VR Troopers fizzled out because it didn’t have enough Japanese footage to scavenge. It definitely had a boatload of merch for it. I remember that show, haven’t seen it in years (and that’s probably for the best lol). I can’t say I’ve heard of the others though.
I’m surprised that Madam Secretary is getting renewed. Kinda thought its purpose would have run out come November 2016, either way.

Remaking MacGuyver…that’s probably not going to end well. It can’t be campy like the 80s, and if it tries to play it straight, well, Burn Notice probably did it better. I imagine it’ll be like the reboot of The Odd Couple.
The premise of Man with a Plan sounds like the premise of Last Man Standing.

The Trailer for Lethal Weapon looks like TV has learned from its shocking failures with the TV show versions of Minority Report and Rush Hour but I dunno.
The only one of these “TV shows of a movie” that makes sense to me is Taken as it is serving as a prequel for the films. The others are more or less rebooting their franchises for the small screen.
I’m still disappointed that they’re not actually ending what they started with 24 in 2014, instead making it a generic thriller with a famous name.
That’s what I thought Legacy was. Kiefer’s final go. Then when I read new cast/new storyline in the article, I found myself surprised but perhaps it was time to move along.
I missed last season entirely so I dodged a bullet.
