I…couldn’t really tell you. I’ve never actually seen a full episode of Critical Role.
4 hours an ep.! Yeah, no.
And some of the other actual plays that are more manageable (at 2 hours tops) from other YT’ers then to turn into jokey camp fests.

Oh, I see. Yeah, each episode is pretty long. I’m close to finishing their 1st campaign but haven’t been back to it in months. Sometimes they did annoy me in one way or another. It’s unfortunate that you didn’t enjoy their animated series more.
