What Movie(s) did you watch today?

Pitch Perfect
The Boondock Saints

Life of Pi on HBO

The Smurfs on CN

Chronicles of Riddick: Director’s Cut Blu-ray

I still enjoyed it, but it wasn’t as good as it was when I saw it ~2005 or so (on DVD).

I appreciate that they built real sets for most of this movie (and I hope they did that for the new one), especially since much of the CG that they did have in Chronicles has not aged well. Oddly enough I saw the same “jerkiness” when they panned over CG shots in this movie as I do in even today’s high-budget anime. Maybe some sort of variable framerate tech could fix that…

Riddick

How was it?

if you liked the first two, especially the first one Pitch Black, then you’ll probably like this one as well; I did. They were all pretty much barbarian movies in space.

I liked Chronicles much more than Pitch Black.

I am curious how they took Riddick from where he was at the end of Chronicles to where he is shown in the ads for this new movie.

Gotta find time to see it though. That’s the real issue :frowning:
