early 2k wuxia movies: the first being a take on Hamlet and the latter, of course, Seven Samurai.
They’re good but not as impactful as I remembered them being.
Most likely going into the box.

I know it’s just shy of two hours, but this breezed thru really quick for me.
For the next film, they need to add a ‘Kyodai Hero’ to the mix.
With all the destruction going on from both Godzillan and Kong (even though Kong is supposedly on humanity’s side) it feels like humans gets the short end of the stick.
