Yoshino Nanjou plays new characters Eiru, Saaga; Twitter account launched
The official website for the original animation DVDs (OADs) for Kosuke Fujishima’s Aa Megami-sama (Ah My Goddess/Oh My Goddess!) manga began streaming the project’s second 90-second promotional video on Monday. The video features the heroine Belldandy as well as two new characters, the twin goddesses Eiru and Saaga (played Yoshino Nanjou and Aoi Yūki). The website also unveiled the official Twitter account for the project.
The 43rd volume of the manga will ship in a limited edition with the manga’s second OAD on September 22. Hiroaki Gohda is once again directing the new anime. The manga’s first OAD shipped with the 42nd manga volume in February.
Looks like a Yugo the Negotiator thread isn’t made, so I’ll just post this here, since it applies.
Anyways, I was watching Yugo the Negotiator the other day, and surprised myself that I never noticed this before.
In the first Pakistan arc, the character Laila has an uncanny resemblance to Peorth, even right down to the basic animated mannerisms.
So much so, I actually took a double-take before loudly blurting out: “It’s freakin’ Peorth!!”
Scared my roomie half to death when I did so, as she had absolutely no idea what I was talking about.
Anyways, just thought I’d throw together a quick comparison pic.

Hiroaki Gohda is returning from the previous two original anime DVDs to direct the new anime. The cast is also returning, led by Kikuko Inoue as Belldandy.
The announcement was also made at the end of the manga’s 45th volume, which shipped on Thursday. More information will be available on the project’s website and in Kodansha’s Afternoon magazine.

Media Blasters confirmed that its licenses for the Ah! My Goddess television series, Voltron, and the Berserk television series expired, while the Blu-ray Disc release of the Kite anime has been canceled for now since the “negative was in terrible shape.”
Good thing I already own AMG, that sucks, I hope Sentai or Funimation will pick it up. I’d hate to see it become unavailable. While they’re at it they can license the 4 OVAs.
Yeah me too. The problem though is that funi has the rights to season 2 through the ADV fire sale. Because of that, they may get right of first refusal. Although they may not see it as cost effective, especially seeing as how foolish ADV was in acquiring some of their licenses which actually hurts the industry as a whole by driving licensing prices up. It will be interesting to see if anyone picks it up

48th & last volume to ship in July with “another ending” drama CD
The May issue of Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon magazine is announcing on Monday that Kousuke Fujishima is ending his Aa Megami-sama (Ah! My Goddess/Oh My Goddess!) manga in the following issue on April 25. The June issue will also have a “super-important announcement.”
The May issue is further announcing that the 48th and final manga volume will have a 5,000-yen (about US$50) deluxe Limited-Edition Final Box on July 23. The box will include the manga volume itself and an original drama CD. The “another ending Ver.” CD will tell a story that is “a little different from the manga” with the anime adaptation’s four main cast members (Masami Kikuchi as Keiichi Morisato, Kikuko Inoue as Belldandy, Yumi Touma as Urd, Aya Hisakawa as Skuld) and others.
The exclusive full-color box will also contain a full-color, miniature 1 to 4 no Aida (Between 1 and 4) book with four parts, a full-color booklet with a long interview with Fujishima on his 25 years of memories, and a set of 12 reproduction art pieces (including 10 never included in art collection books). The staff is encouraging fans to send their own messages via postage mail or email by May 30. The staff teases that these messages will be included on the CD or booklet.
Fujishima began the manga in Monthly Afternoon in 1988, and Dark Horse Comics published the 45th manga volume in North America last December. The manga inspired an original video anime series, three television series with a special, and three additional original anime DVDs.
I know you looked for it, but I guess you overlooked it.

It’s all good!
It’s not a big deal, just thought I’d point it out.
Slow will merge it whenever she gets on in the morning.
Ah! My Goddess: Flights of Fancy - Official Opening - Shiawase no Iro
Ah! My Goddess: Flights of Fancy - Official Ending 1 - “Bokura no Kiseki”
Ah! My Goddess: Flights of Fancy - Official Ending 2 - “Koibito Doshi”
Just a heads up for everyone Collecting the Dark Horse Omnibus Editions: According to Amazon, Vol.6 won’t be out until October. (I can only assume the delay was because they were trying to keep the page counts consistent and figuring out which chapters to include and they were waiting for more of the regular editions to go out of print. Considering it’ll probably be the only Volume out this year, I hope they can average at least 3-4 volumes in 2018)
Can MediaBlasters and Funimation lose the rights to this already?
Seriously would like to see this series all in one house, Finally get a Blu-Ray release of the movie, and the never before licensed OVAs. With it split up the way it is, it’s a pipe dream at best right now. Need some inside info from TBS to make it happen lol
Just a heads up, Looks like Dark Horse has started up the Manga Omnibus Editions again, Volume 7 releases in June
