Amagi Brilliant Park Live-Action Videos?! Fujimi Shobo Creates Challenge Videos of the Hard-Working Moffuru
*The TV anime Amagi Brilliant Park will begin broadcasting on TBS, BS-TBS, and other stations this October. Now, to heighten excitement for this October show, fun videos have been created of the mascot character Moffuru. This series of videos is called “Leave it to Moffuru!” The novel videos show Moffuru challenging himself with various activities to widely appeal to the start of the show. The contents are a must-see.
The first part of “Leave it to Moffuru!” is called “Sprinting up a Hill at Full Force” and shows Moffuru sprinting with all his might up the hill on which Kadokawa is located. The video, editing, performers, and narration were all done by staff at Fujimi Shobo, and the contents overflow with a homegrown feeling. Seeing Moffuru bravely sprinting in the dead heat of summer in this first video is indescribably surreal. In truth, the video is an homage to a popular show, and those who get it will be able to enjoy the video even more.
The second video in the series, “Moffuru Appears in Akasaka Sacas,” features the event Summer Sacas 2014 Deliciacas that is ongoing until Aug. 31. Moffuru gives a report of the event along with Takumi Morii, the editor in charge of Amagi Brilliant Park. A collaboration with Korokke Saigotei is ongoing at the event, and the korroke that appear in the video can actually be eaten. This video as well has an at-home feel and is definitely a must-see. More videos will be released from here on, so check them out along with information on the anime and original story.
The original work to Amagi Brilliant Park is a light novel series by Shoji Gatoh that is currently published by Fujimi Fantasia Bunko (Kadokawa). Directing the anime is Yasuhiro Takemoto of Lucky Star and Hyouka fame and producing the animation is Kyoto Animation, which is known for K-On! and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.*

The previews for this show made it look like something that I wouldn’t like but it was pretty amazing. Binged watched the first 3 eps.
It’s outbreak company, but better. Sentai really ought to pick this one up. At the very least, someone ought to get the property streaming before it’s too late.
Cmon Sentai, don’t make me pin my hopes for this on nisa. If Sentai, or anyone, has this then they need to get on the stick and get it streaming right quick as the stream ship is under weigh and is almost out of the harbor: we’re going on week 5 now.
