So I looked up the current JP sales for this and it looks like it’s bombing really hard.
The first vol. to rank on Oricon in either format (DVD/BD) was Vol. 03 BD.

With numbers like that, there’s just no way this series will get another season.
Unless the other otaku merchandise is selling through the roof, it looks like this is the end for this series.
Sad news indeed. I enjoyed the show and was hoping to see more.
How could it compete against SAO? 
Though as long as Sentai dubs it I’ll be content…I think.
Since Sentai is talking about fast turnarounds from licensing to physical media releases for shows, within a year or so of the show ending, where is Btooom! ?
Has there been any news on its pending release? A date given for it?
The final JP vol. was just released last month 4/24.
So there’s a realy really small chance it’ll pop up on the Sept. solicitations later this month, but chances are, I’d say October at earliest, which is the 6 month mark between JP/US release.
