EDIT: Sonic Boom premieres November 8 on Cartoon Network.

“Robots in Disguise begins a brand new chapter in storytelling, filled with great humor, lots of fun adventure and animated in a cooler, lighter, brighter style that we know kids are going to really love,” said Stephen Davis, president of Hasbro Studios and global entertainment & licensing for Hasbro, Inc. “We have spent a lot of time listening to what kids like about Transformers and they haven’t been shy about giving us their opinions. And we have listened! Robots in Disguise is reflective of all that we have learned in our conversations with kids. It has the most relatable Autobot and Decepticon characters we have ever ‘Rolled Out’ in a Transformers animated series.”

The mission begins as Bumblebee must step up to be leader in the years after we left the Autobots in Transformers Prime. Summoned by Optimus Prime to save Earth from a new faction of Decepticons, Bumblebee puts his light-hearted mettle to the test after assembling a rouge team of young Autobots action heroes. Bumblebee must balance his job fighting off evil with being equal parts squad leader and coach to a rascally band that needs constant coaxing to learn how to work together. The results are comical when the cool rebel, elite guard cadet, bombastic dinobot and excitable mini-con must balance team-building with chasing and capturing their new enemies in every episode packed full of action, fun and adventure.

So when Hasbro was in talks to shop their shows around, namely Cartoon Network, this was the result. Good news here is action shows are still alive on CN. Big blow to Discovery Family though. I didn’t fully see this coming. If Hello Kitty gets shopped around and ends up somewhere like Boomerang, my confidence in DF’s Hasbro block will start to be shaken. Those were the only two new shows for 2015 so far.

If you have Dish and woke up this morning for CN or other Turner nets (excluding TBS and TNT), you’re probably not happy with what you found out.

Man now I’m gonna miss Ben 10 Omniverse premieres. Darn you Turner!!

My Cartoon on Demand already has Monday’s (yesterday) episode up. You can probably keep up that way until it’s resolved.

I’m happy I at least got to see the Clyde Five episode yesterday. We’ll have to settle with what we can until the channels reappear. As long as they come back before next week’s huge schedule, I’ll be content.

That was silly of me, I guess if you’re losing Cartoon Network, you’ll be losing the On Demand channel also.

But, it seems that you can also watch episodes on the Cartoon Network website, they also have it updated to yesterday’s (Monday) episode.

This is a better place to mention this. Dish is also not listed on Adultswim.com. That’s out.

Much of this was already mentioned in the October 27th Premiere week schedule. To make things clear, the Under Wraps airing here is not the 1997 Disney film. It’s :arrow_right:

Dish Network Chairman Charlie Ergen made comments regarding the Turner networks (not including TBS and TNT) that have been removed from the satellite company. He said:

“When we take something down we’re prepared to leave it down forever. Things like CNN are not quite the product that they used to be. You can imagine: CNN down on election night would have been a disaster 15 or 20 years ago. Now there are plenty of other places for people to get news. In fact a lot of people get news not from TV but from their devices. So it’s not had a major impact on our business yet. I do expect that we would ultimately lose some subscribers without Turner programming. We would prefer to get a deal done. But we have a timeframe that we look at and there comes a point in time, certainly during this month, if we don’t have a deal [then] we just make a long-term decision to go a different direction.

“If we’re not going to be in a relationship with Turner then we would not have to raise our prices next year. And that would be slightly cash positive for us from a cash flow perspective. Yes, we listen to customers. But we would save a big, big, big check from a cash flow perspective. And for those folks who don’t care about news and cartoons, we have other news and cartoon shows. [Would subscribers] rather save the money? There’s a pretty good chance that they would. With regional sports, at some point someone is not going to carry regional sports because not everybody watches regional sports. I just think that there’s going to be more diversity, particularly when you can get cartoons from Netflix, or you can get news from the Internet, or you can get a TV show a week later, or you can binge view all the shows in a way that you can’t do easily on TV as you do it today. The world is changing. Some people are going to change with it. Some people are going to be fast followers. And some people are going to figure it out after somebody tells them what they should be doing.”

                   By Way of Reminder:

With Boomerang’s rebrand/original programming set to launch sometime in 2015, I’m considering a thread for news on the new Boomerang effective in January so they will no longer be part of the CN thread after December 2014.

As if Teen Titans Go! and The Amazing World of Gumball don’t air enough on Cartoon Network, starting December 1 they’ll both air on Boomerang as well.

Teen Titans Go! will air weeknights in the 8pm hour, replacing Pokémon which is moving to the 4pm hour. Gumball will join weeknights from 9-10pm, replacing the third daily hour of Chowder.
