That would depend on if Kadokawa allows it.
Going by Sentai’s previous Kadokawa licenses, probably not.

Chaika episode 9 was a bit “out there” but I understand that the show had to put everything on the table in its penultimate ep. That said, I’m not seeing a satisfactory conclusion coming, should the series conclude with 10 instead of leaving it open-ended, as the setup suggests a Le Chevalier D’Eon esque ending.

Soichi Masui is the Director, he also was the director for Scrapped Princess.
Considering how bad it looked for the Protagonists right before the end of Scrapped Princess, and how neatly non rushed and cleanly that was resolved, I’m holding out for a clean resolved ending. Opening / Closing will probably be Sacrificed for the extra run time on Ep. 10. We’ll see how it goes.
Avenging Battle Ep.10

Was a nice resolution to everything, only slightly rushed, Toru takes the plunge as a Dragoon Cavalier, fights Shin, wins. Gaz tries to convince Toru to join him, and Toru refuses, which was a nice character arc for Toru, Gaz tries to kill Toru but Chaika saves him.
Niva switches sides when Gaz tries to kill Chaika and Chaika, out of Ammo, has to use her memories to power Niva to destroy Gaz and the floating fortress.
Niva is in the hands of The Gilette Organization, as Gilette takes over as the new head, with Vivi helping him out. Nikolai takes over the Investigation squad.
Red, White Akari Toru and Frederica are living together as Akari writes her trashy romance novel of forbidden love between two Sibling Sabotuers.
Only thing that was slightly disappointing was that they didn’t show how much memories Chaika had lost.
Wow. What a cliched way to end the series.

Gaz became the kind of villain that Dr. Evil was designed to spoof: the heroes only take him out because he lets them (BTW, what happened to the shield?) presumably because of pride. Toru also gets blinded by pride and is exactly as Gaz says.
They couldn’t help a bro out and do something for Gillette so he didn’t go on like Jamie Lannister? Not cool.
The ending was far too rushed, I would have preferred a cliffhanger/ambiguous ending.

Hmm. Looks like Bahamut has officially revealed a lot of overlap with Chaika, in terms of character/plot similarities. I can’t say for certain since Bahamut is still ongoing but it does look like Funi got the “better Chaika”.
If you know where to look for it, The OVA is out for Chaika.
Both Stories take place during S1, because Vivi hasn’t been Chaika-ized yet…

A. We are looking into the second season as I type this. Can’t really say about a dub, but it’s definitely on my personal “shows we need to dub” list, so we’ll see!

Q. I heard that you will be dubbing Chaika, but havent seen it anywhere on your site or on social media. Is this true?
A. YES! We announced this over the weekend at San Japan, actually. Chaika the Coffin Princess WILL indeed be getting a dub, and why wouldn’t it, right? It’s only got a ton of action, a great cast of main characters, a very unique and interesting storyline, and one of the cutest girls…EVER, in Chaika.
We are super excited about working on this show, we hope you dig the end product!
