They went by the US TV airing not the Japanese episode airdates.
The Dragon Boxes are the best way to get DBZ uncut. Though none of the English music is on there so don’t expect it. Dragon Boxes have the best video and they have all of the filler DB Kai removed. Some of the filler in my opinion should have been left. It was a little bit of the great comedy charm from the original Dragon Ball that most of DBZ was lacking.
Dragon Boxes your better off waiting for Amazon to run a sale again they can be had for around $26.99 each. Course they are not all out yet.

Looks like the Dragon Boxes are going to be a few print runs then go OOP and with Kai being released I have doubts Funimation will do a plain jane no cool box or book run for the Dragon Box masters anytime soon. So if you want the Dragon Box masters I’d say get them as soon as possible.

I’d have if I like DBZ enough. I do own the original DB series so probably will at some point get DBZ in some form.
Saw a commercial during Avatar that DBZ Kai is supposed to start showing new episodes October, 20th.

I wonder if Naruto will be back by then or if something really fishy is going on ?
Way things are looking Disney XD is going more live action originals anymore. So basically we got two Disney Channels.
Dragon Ball Z Kai will be back with a new episode on Wednesday, October 20.
They are showing the last new episode on Tuesday, October 19.
OR…
Between the two new episode showings (8pm ET/7pm CT AND 11pm ET/10pm CT), they will be showing the last 5 previous episodes.
So, it depends on how and when you want to watch. If you want to relive the last 5 episodes and get into the feel of the story, then catch the later showing. If not, then catch the earlier showing.
Not sure if it’s still up but they had been putting the most recent 3 episodes on VOD under Nickelodeons stuff.
Dragon Ball Z Kai - new episode on Wednesday, October 20 and Thursday, October 21.
