Now this is fun, over the top mecha, done right. A lot of newer series just try to reinvent the 70s Giant Robo genre, MazinKaiser doesn’t do that… instead it revels in everything great about the genre and doing it well rather than trying new things. An absolute joy to watch, and the OP with the pure awesomeness of JAM Project… You really can’t go wrong with this title.

This title was sadly in danger of ADV letting it continue to go Out of Print for years and for a few weeks some months ago was put indefinitely on hold… but luckily ADV has found a way to release this cheaply, and comes with another series, Shuten Doji all for the price of 1. Can’t wait to finally get this title, by the time I saw it and fell in love with it it was already Out of Print (it wasn’t in circulation long before). Soon it will be mine.

This is a true labor of love by ADV and equally so for them to find the means to be able to release this series again in June in this industry and economic climate. I’ll be eternally grateful to finally have it in my collection. B) B) B)

Can’t stop listening to the OP over and over and over and over and over though.
