Plot Summary: Soma Yukihira is a son of a restaurant owner. He’s talented at cooking and can make new dishes, mostly weird and epic combinations (squid and peanut butter) but this wide imagination of his also led him to create wonderful and unique foods. However, two to three years from now, the restaurant is on the verge of closing since his father will be working together with his friend. Before the time comes, Soma began studying in Engetsu Teahouse Culinary Academy, Japan’s top culinary academy. For him to continue their restaurant business, he must learn and improve his cooking skills in this prestigious academy.

Plot Summary: This 3rd season continues the story of Yukihira Soma at Japan’s premiere culinary school. This time around he’s aiming for a spot in “The Elite Ten”. These are the ten best students in the school who primarily decide which direction the school’s curriculum will take. However, dark days are approaching as a former student returns and maneuvers into a position of power to usher in a new, bleaker direction for the school. At its darkest hour many students turn to Yukihira Soma to turn the tide.

Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma: The Fourth Plate / Shokugeki no Sōma: Shin no Sara
Plot Summary: With the Central Gourmet Organization ruling over the academy, the students are no longer allowed to cook freely. Soma and friends stood against the regime and as a result, they were labeled as rebels of the Academy. The Season of the Advancement Exams arrived and some of Soma’s friends lose and are sentenced to be expelled. In order to breakthrough this situation, Soma and the remaining rebels challenge new Council members and the Azami regime to a Régiment du Cuisine. The 1st bout was won by the rebels with ease but this is only the beginning of the battle to decide their fates. The 2nd bout is about to begin.
