I agree with him to an extent. The problem is Japan is not giving the younger generation much incentive to be an animator or work in the industry. Most of them that do either get burned out for very little pay or quickly become disenchanted with the industry they looked forward to working for.
Anime has become overly focused on certain things and it is indeed seeming to be hindering the creativity that you once saw throughout a lot of works.
Not saying everything coming out is bad. I’m saying it feels like a lot of the same story but slightly different takes.
I think it’s why I’m hesitant about starting a lot of the action or Isekai shows anymore. I’m expecting to be disappointed. Most of the ones I do watch end up being a good watch but largely forgettable.
I’m 100% certain In another world with a Loli God isn’t classified in that roster…
It also helps that it has the pacing of Demon King Daimao.
