I’m noticing less Roku TV’s on the market. The two bigger name primarily Roku tv brands in the past have gone to mainly Google now. I think Walmart’s ONN brand is primarily Roku but TCL and Hisense seem to be putting out more Google TV’s then Roku. I don’t think I saw a single Hisense Roku in the new line ups. TCL has a few but primarily Roku seems to be getting pushed to the lower end of the market. Also noticing no new models of streaming players in a while.

It’d be a shame if Roku goes out as I believe the interface is a bit better than the FireTV or Google TV interface.

Though I’m thinking Walmart would probably end up buying them to use as their devices OS.

Hulu Bought By Disney; Price Expected To Be At Least $8.6 Billion – Deadline

So here’s the thing does Disney buy Hulu, then fold it into Disney +? It makes no sense to own 2 Streaming services, especially one that’s similar to what you offer on another service. It would make more sense to fold one into the other (Like CR did with Funimation, Although they should have kept Funimation as their free with ads offering. The reason they don’t just axe Funimation is because of the digital purchases, They don’t want to alienate those people, yet)

James Gunn must have threatened to stop working for them or something. Doubt it was really the backlash or we would have gotten Batgirl.

They could pay me to have Hulu and I still wouldn’t take it.

If they had a deal on the ad-free version, I might have considered it.

Only one of a sort of deal I’ve seen on the ad free for them is if you have one of the Verizon Wireless unlimited plans that put it in at $8.99 a month for Hulu and D+. They sort of figure it in the cell plan so it appears you’re getting it free but not really.
