Uta no Prince-sama meets Gravitation… sounds interesting.

I had blindly added this to my CR queue without reading any summary, and the OP made me think this was a show would drop quickly, but the premise is interesting enough to hold my attention for at least a few episodes.

Crunchyroll Adds Love Stage!! Anime

Boys-love series about an otaku and an actor premieres Wednesday, July 9

Going by the huge territories available list and it being a Kadokawa title, I’d say this one probably isn’t licensed by anyone at the moment.

Love Stage!! Boys-Love OVA’s TV Ad Streamed

TV anime’s main voice cast return for DVD to ship in November

What…
You mean Funi wasn’t forced to take this, and release, as part of their recent Kadokawa grab bag? Say it ain’t so… :frowning:

It ain’t so?

I’m somewhat surprised as I was getting the impression that funi was trying to muscle back into the fujoshi market. I guess they’re content to grab the titles that are at the top of that heap and leave it at that, more or less?

Episode 3 –

Drowning in a sea of pink elephants!

yeah this show has gone way beyond Gravitation, and already surpasses Mirage of Blaze in that “pink elephant” use department. :pinch:

Loveless is standing over in the corner begging for it to be able to unsee Love Stage.

Episode 5 –

Will Ryouma ever be able to leave Izumi without one last kiss? He may be there forever!

Episode 6 –

Oh, the temptation at the end of this episode! But I’m sure Ryouma will remain a perfect gentleman, even with his threats… Okay! So, I’m hoping he’ll take advantage of Izumi anyway! LOL

 Wicca!

Are you trying to get Ryouma to borrow Slow’s dungeon and lure someone down there with Lala Lulu posters and merch?

:laughing: :laughing: :laughing::

Yes, I think I am!

I’m just not sure if Slow will rent out some space. Or if she will even tolerate Lala Lulu!

Sentai Filmworks License Announcement

Sentai Filmworks Adds Love Stage!! Anime

Boys-love series about an otaku and an actor ran on Crunchyroll

So it looks like Kadokawa has lessened its announcement restrictions on Sentai as the last 2 seasons they were able to announce acquisition once the series finished it’s live stream. Interesting

Only 10 episodes? wow things are getting really stupid and people really lazy. I know it was an oversexed anime, but still a season used to be 14 episodes with reruns, then people dropped to 12, maybe you get 25 for a year… but things only being 10 episodes? are they adopting Ameri-trash TV stupidity now? Will many anime end like Eureka from SyFy with only 4~6 episode seasons? Might as well just make a movie at 18 minutes*6 than to even bother with something weekly.

The world is just getting pathetic.
