That’s just my guess from how they handle their past announcements and solicitations, but it’s a pretty good chance that’s what’ll happen.
Episodes 1-12 are live at ANO
You all might want to fix that Error on the Blu-Ray back piece, where you have “Clean Closing Animation” listed twice…
Since you brought it up, I posted that on FP in the Cover Art forum.
Hopefully Janice or David will see it before it gets released like that.
I emailed Section 23 as well, so hopefully it’s not too late to have it corrected.
Mike got back to me really quickly. Unfortunately, it’s too late to correct the error.
It adds character to the release. Besides, isn’t an opening animation also a closing animation of the closing animation? Lol.
It may be too late to correct the mistake on this printing but Sentai will get another shot when they roll out the dubbed bluray
Finally got my BD copy and I must say whoever authored the disc did a great job. All the episodes looked good and there weren’t any major issues with video or audio. (12 episodes on a disc and you are going to get some compromise of video quality but it was hardly noticeable)
Also finally finished this up over the past week.
I have to say, that was actually pretty good!
Especially delving into whole country economics and the ups & downs of each choice that’s presented as an option.
Though, annoyingly, it ended on a weird note and definitely needs a second season to see where things go from there.
IF only they were smart enough to get Wolf & Spice, it would have made such a wonderful pair of shows to bundle together.
I am currently trying to figure out how one didn’t end up being a copy of the other and can only figure that so few shows like this and Log Horizon exist where the financial aspects as well as the class aspects of a feudalistic society get brought to life within a show. I was already thinking earlier how Log Horizon sort of has Shiroe in a Craft position at least partially, and now this show brings us a new form of Horo…
They all touch on the same key elements and tell good stories with them that have less of the run of the mill humor and over the top fighting scenes, that this is in the running for Top 10 feudal era animes in my book.
Where is the rest of the story?!?! Just like Spice & Wolf it just doesn’t finish! I want to see the other side of the hill too!
By feudal anime, does that only include the “medieval Europe” anime (ie:no feudal japan/samurai stuff)?
Reading the VN/Manga for these shows that only adapt the first part of a long saga in order to experience the end of the story started through the anime just doesn’t cut it.

No animax dub?
https://ask.fm/SentaiFilmworks/answers/134676215773
Q. Hello sentai! Do you guys still re-visit older anime you have already released in sub only to do dubs? One of my favorites was Maoyu, has anyone ever requested you dub this one? If not can I be the first? Please consider Maoyu for a dub re-release thank you for all you do!
A. You’re not the first to request Maoyu (it’s a favorite of ours too. The two mains have the most adorable chemistry). However, at this time, we are not currently planning to re-release it as a dub. As always, fans are welcome to come together to collectively request which of our previously released titles should have dubs.
I’d consider buying a dub re release since Mayou was one of the first victims of the 12 Episodes on one BD50 release
A dub would greatly up my interest in this title. The dub was the only reason I bought its spiritual prequel, Spice 'n Wolf.
