Okay, well, we’ll see how this goes.
Please make one guess per character per post.
Please reply to my root post to help me keep track of what I’ve replied to.
I’ll post my replies to the guesses once each weekday.
Have fun.

MARDOCK SCRAMBLE: THE FIRST COMPRESSION
ADR Director & Script - Steven Foster

Characters to be Guessed:

Rune Balot – Balot is a troubled, young woman making her living as a prostitute. She is “rescued” by Shell Septinos, but it very quickly becomes apparent that he has ulterior, and very sinister motives. Badly burnt and on the very brink of death, Balot is given a synthetic body and a new chance at life through the newly enacted Mardock Scramble 09 law.

Oeufcoque – A mouse that has been rebuilt and given human intelligence. Originally developed for use in the space program, Oeufcoque now works as a Mardock Scramble 09 case officer, helping victims of violent crime find and convict their attackers. Due to his altered body, he can take on an almost limitless variety of shapes.

Dr. Easter – Oeufcoque’s human partner. While working for the military space program, Easter developed the technology responsible for Oeufcoque’s existence as well as Rune Balot’s body.

Shell Septinos – A successful casino owner and gambler, Shell has “adopted” a number of runaways, prostitutes and other unwanted women. Strangely, the women never seem to be around very long afterwards.

Dimsdale Boiled – Shell’s hired muscle. He is also a Mardock Scramble 09 case worker. He used to be Oeufcoque’s user and partner.

The Bandersnatch Company Employees – The Bandersnatch Company is publicly a meat processing facility. Only the meat they specialize in is human flesh. In addition to making your enemies disappear permanently, each assassin has a fetish for a body part and often has particularly fine examples from their victims surgically transplanted onto their own body.

Medium the Fingernail – Medium’s special love is fingers. Due to the transplants, the fingers of his own hands are mismatched and grotesque. As you might expect, a rather deranged personality.

Mincemeat the Wink – Mincemeat is especially fond of eyes. He has had his favorites embedded all over his body. A well-muscled, bruiser sort of fellow.

Rare the Hair – A lover of fine hair and skin. Rare’s own skin is wrinkled and dry, but her hair is lustrous and nearly as long as she is tall. Though she’s not all that tall.

Flesh the Pike – Resembling a large mound of flesh, Flesh’s first love is breasts. She (or he – it’s really hard to say) has had numerous breasts implanted along both sides of her body. The technical/computer expert of the company.

Welldone the Pussyhand – The head of the Bandersnatch Company. Welldone is looking for the perfect implant for his right hand.
First Round Correct
Flesh the Pike – Rob Mungle
Dr. Easter - David Matranga
Mincemeat the Wink - Andrew Love
Second Round

Apparently my list was a little confusing. There’s not an actor for the “Bandersnatch Company” per se. It just seemed a little easier to group those characters together with a shared explination. Sorry for any confusion.

So, here’s round two.
All of the remaining actors except one where guessed for other roles. The actor that was NOT guessed actually has TWO roles, and is an actor that I am surprised was not guessed for anything. Meaning, he’s someone whose name you would recognize.

Third Round (final)

On to Round 3. I’ll post replies on Monday, and reveal any of the cast that isn’t guessed at that time

Well, now it should be possible to figure out which actor has two roles.
Of the other actors, two (one male / one female) that were guessed in the first round and were NOT guessed in the second round were correct guesses, just not for the right character.

Looks like a very strong cast. I’m looking forward to watching/hearing this one. I will probably preorder the DVD and if I like it enough, get the bluray when it comes out next year.

She didn’t overlook this. The names following this ARE the employees of the Bandersnatch company.

She did an explanation on the second day:

My bad!
And I even posted that too!

Man, I really need to actually read what I copy/paste.

Hey guys, this is regarding Mardock Scramble VOD. There was a bit of a miscommunication between certain parties, and the premiere dates were a bit flubbed up.

Mardock scramble starts on 45 packages 9/29, and on MOD 9/15. It was originally supposed to be 9/1, but it was changed, and that change was not properly communicated.

I’m sorry you guys have to deal with any fallout from this situation. You may choose one representative from the forum to soundly kick me in the ass if you’d like.
