I noticed that the other day while dvring the comic con stuff on saturday. Thankfully I did so I can dvr them on saturday.
Watching Iron Man now.
Question: Is the Marvel logo at the bottom left cut off for anyone else? Basically it says “ARVEL”. I tried on three different TV set ups and it’s the same for all three on my end. So is anyone else seeing it the same as me?
Also wtf is there a Marvel logo anyway?
I’m guessing it has to do with the fact it’s a Marvel block and the logo was cut off for me as well.
So far so good I say. Wolverine was fantastic. Gory, great action. Logan looked great in anime form. Iron Man was good too but didn’t understand why it had a TV-14 rating really…at least the first episode. All in all I’m hoping this will be the catalyst to drive G4 ratings higher and breath more life to televised anime.
I think the rating had to do with language.

Another note: Iron Man and Wolverine are in reruns now.
Tonight will begin a new season of anime on G4.
Don’t forget no More Milo Wolverine either! YAY!
Though I noticed from the two clips the dialogue seems a little odd at times. Like they followed the Japanese script a little to close.
When G4 was still known as Tech TV, I was watching their daily Anime Unleashed block religiously. Quite a few of my favorite shows aired there–Dual!, RahXephon, Last Exile (just to name a few). So I’m glad to see action anime return to the network…kinda.
While I’m digging everything they’ve shown so far, watching G4 in general can be sort of painful with the gigantic pop ups and promos that take over almost the entire screen every four minutes. If nothing else, it’s making me want to get these shows on DVD so I can really enjoy them as they were intended to be…

Action series to premiere with Harold Perrineau on January 13 in U.S.
For those of you watching Marvel Anime: Blade on G4; I don’t know what the deal was on Friday night. For some reason, they showed X-Men instead.
My TV schedule shows that they will be showing the Blade episode on Sunday (Feb 26) night @ 11pm ET/10pm CT. But you should check your local listing to be sure.
Edit: I just checked the G4 website and it has the Blade episode at 4am ET/3am CT Sunday morning.
