I wish they’d bring back the Netflix theater party for Xbox. Kinda had that Mystery Theater 3000 feel to it.
From EPN:
New Judd Apatow Show Coming to Netflix
Netflix isn’t slowing down its stream of original content.
The online juggernaut is joining forces with Anchorman and Bridesmaids producer Judd Apatow for a new comedy series titled Love. The show will star Community’s Gillian Jacobs and comedian Paul Rust as two people who never thought they’d fall in love, but do, and then see them forced to navigate all the exhilarations and humiliations that inevitably follow. It promises to offer an “unflinching, hilarious and excruciatingly honest take on modern relationships,” which sounds like pretty much every other Judd Apatow movie.
The first season of Love will be available to stream starting in 2016. Netflix has already committed to a second season, which will follow in 2017.
Bloodline: The dark drama, starring Friday Night Lights’ Kyle Chandler, describes itself as a “dramatic thriller that explores the demons lurking beneath the surface of a contemporary American family.” The show centers around the Rayburns, a business-owning Florida family with a wealth of dark secrets that are in danger of being exposed when their son comes home for the 45th anniversary of his parents’ hotel. You can watch the teaser trailer here.
F is for Family: This animated comedy from comedian Bill Burr (also of Breaking Bad fame) explores the average family’s life – in the 1970s. The show is based on Bill Burr’s standup, and showcases “a time when you could smack your kid, smoke inside, and bring a gun to the airport.”
Between: This dramatic sci-fi thriller lands Nickelodeon star Jennette McCurdy (iCarly, Sam & Cat) in a unique role as a girl in a small town where a mysterious disease has killed everyone over the age of 21. The show is being released in collaboration with Canadian cable company Rogers and Canadian streaming service Shomi, which means it will debut across three platforms simultaneously.
All three shows are slated for an early 2015 release date, and considering the ramped up competition between Netflix and its competitors like HBO, the production value on all three will doubtlessly be top notch.

Netflix Unveils Their Marco Polo Series
Netflix is heading back in time with their latest original series. It’s called Marco Polo, and is based on the life of the 13th century Italian explorer who first introduced Europeans to Central Asia and China, which helped usher in a new era of exploration that eventually led to the Renaissance. If the trailer is any indication, Netflix is pulling out all the stops with the show, giving it the same production values as any big TV series.
Netflix hopes to usher in a new era of its own. Marco Polo is being produced by The Weinstein Company, which recently partnered with the streaming service to create the sequel to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Old school Hollywood and traditional film distributors are not happy about this, fearing that they’ll eventually be replaced by Netflix and other online services.
You’ll be able to start streaming Marco Polo on December 12.
