Season 2 began August 13, 2012, and it will run for 22 episodes.
This continues to be the only show I watch on NBC, though Iām now 2 weeks behind
I wish theyād have more fluid fight/action sequences. In Season 1, when the Captain dispatched his kidnappers the action was fluid, easily followed, and impressive. Sadly, most of the action scenes are not like that. An example would be when Nick takes out the Reapers at the old dam with the kanabo, where the camera shook and quickly jumped around in the scene making the action not easily followed and not very impressive. Some of the shots remind me of anime where they show the classic ādisembodied fistā in fight scenes.
My theory is that the actor for the Captain was able to handle the fight choreography while Nick and the others canāt so the camera having a seizure is to compensate. As season 2 moves along the Nick action scenes are looking more fluid but I was hoping that NBC could have put the cast through some training or gotten a better choreographer/cinematographer during the break between seasons.

Revolution is my favorite new show of the season. Fights are great, itās dark, etc⦠Good show.

This week on Face Off on the SyFy channel the makeup challenge will be to create a creature that would fit in on Grimm.

I havenāt gotten into Revolution. The previews stated that the cause of the loss of electrical power wouldnāt be told for a while and that would drive me nuts with all the unanswered questions that approach creates, compounded by the previews showing people using primitive networked computers to communicate after the power loss.
Only 2 more eps of Grimm in 2012?!
Really NBC, really?
At least the ācableā networks bring some shows back in November. I do wish theyād run shows during the Fall season without the ever-annoying pre-planned hiatus.
This is probably the first show Iāve watched on NBC since Kings and now theyāre leaving me hanging. Sigh.
Mid-Season Premiere of Grimm starts Friday, March 7.
This has been off the air for so long that Iād almost forgotten about it.
Just another reason why Univision is beating NBC for ratings.
CBS seems to have a monopoly on good shows. Are the other networks even trying? Shows like Grimm, the best NBC has, and Touch, the best Fox has, have been sorely neglected by their networks. If it werenāt for late night shows I wouldnāt have seen NBC in months
Grimm will move to Tuesday nights, starting April 30, replacing the cancelled Ready for Love.
That could be pretty nice for me as I have DVR conflicts often on Friday nights. I was hoping that CBS would demote their Golden Boy show (Discotek/whoever should sue over that title) show and put Vegas back on Tuesdays, but this works as well.
Iām glad to see that Grimm, the only watchable NBC show Iāve yet found, is moving up in the TV world.
And the only NBC āprimetimeā show worth watching gets to go a bit longer.
OH MY GOD I LOVE THAT SHOW! my fav character is monroe! hes awesome and really funny!
I decided to catch up on the current season to start off the new year. I think that the show has gotten a lot better, especially the camera work during the fight sequences (I hate the ones where I canāt tell āwho punched whom?ā due to spastic camera work).
I was really surprised to see a massively pro-gun statement made in the first episode of the season.
So in the finale, do you think that
Nick lost his ultra-low-heart-rate and super-hearing abilities when he lost his Grimm-ness?
ā¦talk about a reason for abstinence lol.

Definitely lost
his super-hearing, not so sure about the other. And man, he wore those sunglasses for absolutely no reasonā¦
I guess I missed the demonstration of him losing that. Deleted it from the DVR so rewatch is difficult
Hopefully thereās still some of that green goo for Nick to chug. I donāt remember Shade dumping it out but I was surprised that she didnāt react when she went to the storage shed after Renard had moved the hat off of the kettle.
Hopefully the powers come back when he gets his Grimm-ness back because getting them in the first place was pretty brutal. It felt kinda one-sided that all the Grimm gets is the ability to see the Wesen, while the Wesen get all kinds of crazy-cool abilities like uber-strength and fire breath.
He didnāt
hear Truble driving up or her stomping into the wedding and she wasnāt exactly quiet about it. Thatās my only take on it.
And Iām sure thereās some more of that green stuff, Renard was really dipping into it with that ladle, so Iām positive there some left. But theyāve got it find it first and until Renard gets better, that wonāt happen.
Nick has some pretty incredible abilities, he has that hearing and also pretty incredible strength, and also he has the ability to make fast decisions based on little information. (Just an observation on my part.)
And somehow, he knows how to use all that stuff in the trailer⦠
Good point.
Iām hoping that Sgt. Woo will get around to mentioning the storage unit to them since I believe he was the one who discovered it, and maybe Nick and his posse will figure it out.
Iām kinda surprised that Trubel (I didnāt realize until now that she had a stylized spelling lol) was able to make it on her own as long as she did as it seemed to me that she just kept stabbing Wesen until they stopped, and that doesnāt work on all Wesen as Nick found out with those Berserkers that could only be stopped with a hair cut.
Summer hiatus is brutal
Premiere date is October 24.
