At just about $8.30, this was the most per episode I’ve spent on a regular release of an anime since the days of the individual 4 episode DVD’s…
It should be noted that AoA releases usually have better video quality than Funi / Sentai.
Mail from the last week or so : Essentials sets if they are not flipped they don’t have a reverse cover . They have art . Just not great for reverse . Burst Angel’s for example is the art they used for the original single volumes DVD artbox .
I did not mind it and Blend-S as much since I enjoyed them and the video is a lot better then we’d have gotten elsewhere ,but still feels odd paying like 2000’s prices on series sets . Hopefully they release the OVA here and it does not break the $39.98 price .

Human Crossing, Vol. 4: Instructor’s Rain. While going through my collection transfer from FilmAF to Blu-Ray dot com (FAF is closing next month) I noticed I was missing this volume. It was only 5 bucks on amazon. Had some points on amazon so grabbed this and couple of pops.
Thanks for reminding me about filmaf . Just exported a txt file in a few ways to have a list . I’ll have to do a transfer to Blu-ray dot com this weekend . Had one started ,but not sure how much .
Sky Wizards Academy The Complete Series - Essentials
So got these in today . Death March I had some expiring gift card bonus thing at Amazon . So got it for about what it would have been if I ordered in the first place . I did not think it was coming today . First Amazon direct delivery . Alderamin on the Sky essentials I picked up on @Series5Ranger recommendation . Reverse cover with titles on spine and cover no info on the back ,but art choice is nice . Maken-ki two essentials full reverse cover so it’s fine . Rage of Bahamut just has art on the reverse .
That’s better than the combo pack. There isn’t any alternate cover art on that one…

But I always did .
To be honest my other hobbies have gotten ridiculously expensive . One of them 3 out of the 20 figures I need are sticking around $500 to a grand each and that’s used . I decided to pack everything up and move on for now .
That said I do think I need to stay off a few forums and sites . All the random deals keep popping up . Next two months might be a little lighter . Pretty caught up as far as I can tell . I say might because I think just some pre-orders left between now and September .
Yes and it kept popping up on my Amazon recommendations . Don’t buy much ecchi titles on there so thinking it was some of the figures I ordered .
