Meme Higashiya’s story of grade schooler who looks adult-like & his sister in high school who looks like a little girl

The book retailer Mangaoh reported on Friday that an anime adaptation of Meme Higashiya’s four-panel manga Recorder to Randoseru (Recorder and Backpack) will air on January 5 on TV Saitama and other stations.

The manga revolves around Atsushi Miyagawa and his sister Atsumi Miyagawa. Atsushi looks like an adult at 180 centimeters (about 71 inches) tall, but he is actually an elementary school boy. Atsumi looks like a little girl at 137 centimeters (54 inches) tall, but she is actually in high school.

The manga launched in Takeshobo’s Manga Club Original magazine in 2007, and it also runs in Takeshobo’s Manga Life Original magazine. The second compiled book volume shipped last year.

Director Hiroshi Kimura to return; promo video streamed

The official website for the Recorder and Randsell television anime series announced on Tuesday that the series will continue on for a second season. The website also began streaming a 64-second trailer for the second season. The new season will be titled Recorder and Randsell Re.

Director Hiroshi Kimura will return for the sequel series, which Dream Creation will again produce and the studio Seven will again animate. The first season’s main cast, which includes Rie Kugimiya, Ryotaro Okiayu, Aya Gōda, Aya Hirano, Tomoe Tamiyasu, Takahiro Sakurai, and Fuko Saito, will also return. Stare will perform the second season’s theme song “Paprika.”

Both seasons adapt Meme Higashiya’s four-panel manga, which revolves around Atsushi Miyagawa and his sister Atsumi Miyagawa. Atsushi looks like an adult at 180 centimeters (about 71 inches) tall, but he is actually an elementary school boy. Atsumi looks like a little girl at 137 centimeters (54 inches) tall, but she is actually in high school. The official website for Recorder and Randsell Mi, the third anime season based on Meme Higashiya’s four-panel manga Recorder and Randsell, posted the series’ key visual on Wednesday. The images features new character designs by Toshiomi Izumi, the earlier season’s animation director, who is replacing Naruse Takahashi.

Higashiya’s story revolves around Atsushi Miyagawa and his sister Atsumi Miyagawa. Atsushi looks like an adult at 180 centimeters (about 71 inches) tall, but he is actually an elementary school boy. Atsumi looks like a little girl at 137 centimeters (54 inches) tall, but she is actually in high school.

The anime will premiere in Japan this July.

3rd season of comedy anime to premiere on July 1

The media distribution service Crunchyroll announced on Wednesday that it will stream the Recorder and Randsell Mi television anime series. Crunchyroll will stream the series for viewers worldwide outside of Japan starting on Monday, July 1 at 10:30 a.m. EDT.
