I’M SOLD!
Still to early to tell whether this will be a keeper. It’s off to a good start, it all depends in what direction they’ll go (same with Monster Girls).
First Episode starts out slow, and then BAM! That ending…
Clues are strewn throughout the Episode as to what’s really going on…The Chalkboard @ 9:14, The Cross in the Garden etc…
Episode 1 –
Interesting first episode. It set the story up perfectly. You see some girls living at school and the puppy was a nice device to get a quick tour of the school as they chased him. There are some oddities, like broken windows and barricaded doors. And a cross in the rooftop garden that probably marks a grave. Something is wrong here.
But when the reality hits towards the end of the episode, it’s a slap in the face. Most of the students Yuki spoke with aren’t really there. There is a lot of blood, smashed desks, and broken glass all over the classroom. And the students you thought were running around outside and having fun are really zombies. It looks like one is trying to get in through the barricaded door too. It seems that Yuki is quite delusional and I think this is going to be a great series!

I had wondered about the color difference but had attributed it to Yuki being a year ahead of the others. She also wears her blouse outside of the skirt which changes the appearance even more vs her juniors.

I must be seriously dumb.
I didn’t even notice that they had different colored uniforms and I’ve even posted promo images & watched the first episode twice.
I noticed halfway that Yuki has a different color than Mii-chan, but I didn’t see the other characters long enough to note which colors they were wearing in show. I basically assumed the same thing as Mark.
NOTICE: DO NOT READ the Wikipedia page, as the character descriptions alone get too many damn spoilers. Hopefully my faulty memory will kick in and I won’t remember the details be be surprised by some of the things I was spoiled by.
Bohemian Rhapsody after watching the second episode.
I mean, is the teacher really there or not? I need to rewatch these episodes
I thought this as well. Many of the school shows use a different color to denote students of different years. Usually, it’s just the tie, but I could see using a different color uniform instead.
It should be noted, that she isn’t in any of the key art at all.
So my guess is she either isn’t there, or something bad will happen to her before too long which would make her not be there.
She’s there she’s already become one of the shows Zombies, so you are seeing her thru Yuki’s filtered vision.

I feel as though with the comments I seen that the anime changed some things, I wondered if the anime creators were unsure if the teacher is real or not. There’s a few moments here and there where the normal (well as normal as you can get in these types of situations) girls act as though she is alive, but then there are moments where they respond to her like she is just a figment of Yuki’s imagination)
Unless there’s a clue in the first episode that cements if she had passed on or not already, it’s hard to say. According to something I read on TV Tropes, the dog is getting more screen alive in the anime than he does in the manga! And we’re only two episodes in!!! So who what’s going with the anime
Would probably be nigh impossible, since Norimitsu Kaihou (the manga story creator) is doing the series composition for the anime.
It’s more likely the changes are Kaihou’s doing, something like, if he had to do it all over again, he’d write his story this way instead of how he initially wrote it.
Ep. 3
So we get the whole initial start of the outbreak from Megumi-sensei’s point of view. Then at the end shifting to the present and you still get the feeling the current Megu is Yuki’s delusion, as the other characters don’t acknowledge her until Yuki mentions her.
The other girls beside Miki seem to really act like Megumi is still alive when Yuki mentions her. Miki seems like she really doesn’t want to play along at all
Going back to this, there is, but it isn’t really obvious until this episode (Ep. 03)…
The cross from the first episode has Megu’s neck ribbon attached to it.

They made it really obvious in Ep. 03, when they focused on it and her necklace (which is a cross).
-edit-
Or maybe it’s her hair bow from Ep. 01, but in either case, I’m pretty sure it’s Megu’s.
-edit 2-
Another thing I just noticed while re-watching Ep. 03 with my roomie…
Whenever we see Megu writing in the dark (both at the beginning and at the end) she no longer has long hair or the ribbon bow that tied it.
