Or at least, that’s what Mayor Weatherby of New Port seems to be forgetting in his efforts to ban certain forms of weapons, including those used by tank-driving policewoman Leona Ozaki and her partner Al. Granted, the city’s Tank Police DO seem to cause a lot of collateral damage, but New Port’s a dangerous place. Especially with the felonious and partially feline Puma sisters back on the prowl, and the Dai Nippon Geiken Corporation is building even more nefarious devices of evil intent that are finding their way into the hands of local terrorists. Unfortunately for DNGC, they may be connected to the murder of Leona’s former partner, and once this hard-headed heroine sinks her treads into a case, there’s no backing up! And as for the Pumas? It’s going to be like cats and police dogs, but there are few problems that a little carefully applied mobile artillery can’t cure! There’s no place to hide, from the good guys OR the bad guys, as law and order meets chaos theory in NEW DOMINION TANK POLICE!

Medaka Box BD is definite for me.
I have no interest in New Dominion Tank Police, which I saw years ago on Animidnight.
The rest though, I’ll decide on later after the Dub streams.

MEDAKA BOX is dubbed, SWEET! That’s been on my to buy list for a while now anyway. Now I await for one other series to know if I’ll be buying a subbed or dubbed release. Considering what happened with that series, the DVD will have more episodes than what aired (I hope)

Fandom post goes out of its way to point out that New Dominion is dubbed, despite being dvd only. This isn’t really remarkable as I have other Section23 dvd-only releases that are dubbed. As such, I read it as meaning S23 would be giving it a new, much better, dub but I fear that is only wishful thinking. I do wonder why fandom had to point out the unremarkable though.

I’m not a Shinkai fan but I’ll stream the dub. Shining Tears x Wind subbed was so terrible that I feel compelled to see if Sentai can save anything related to such a trainwreck of a series.

None of these are must-blind-buys for me on plot/chars/etc. If any of these have a “signable” dub cast I’ll buy them right away for that, even though August puts them past the height of con season. But if they feature mostly the usual casts-whom I like, don’t get me wrong-I’ll have to wait until either I find Sentai at a con or I find that I like the dubs via streaming/other viewing to pick them up as, and it pains me a bit to think of this, the usual casts aren’t really to be found on the autograph circuit, barring some exceptions like Monica Rial and the Brothers Ayres.

With so many awesome 3DS games coming out the wazoo this year, I’ll have to start being strict/careful on what I buy so it’s Medaka Box for me. Nothing more at this time.

Tsuritama, Garden of Words and New Dominion Tank Police for me. Medaka Box is a maybe.

Um, I think that the original Manga UK dub will be on there. I’m pretty sure that goes for titles that are rescued.

Not every “rescue title” retains its original dub, as Maiden Japan’s rescue of Black Magic M-66 shows.

Though the real mystery here is how what you said relates back to the content of you quoted.

Nao and Alfonse…(VOD)

Leona and Bonaparte…(DVD)

why does the timing seem like this was planned?
