That’s what I like to hear, a creative team that wants to do a sequel on their terms, and not trying to milk a franchise for all it’s worth, just because S1 was successful.

It’s one of my most hated things about some shows they just throw sequel after sequel or continue to make episodes for shows whose quality, while great in the beginning really got dragged threw the dirt at the end (I’m looking at you, Bleach)

of the long running shows, Detective Conan still maintains its story quality for the most part (The animation was always sub par to me) One Piece should have ended ages ago, Gintama is about to wrap up, I think they’ll come out with a final season to give the anime fans some closure and correlate with the manga ending. and Fairy Tale is rightfully on hiatus for right now/
