Melody of Oblivion + Yugioh + middle school moeblobs… Did Funimation mean to release this on April Fools’ Day?

Not something that I really expected Funimation to pick up. Anyone want to lay odds that this is the beginning of “Symphogear 2.0”?

Updated and added current season of One Piece to Funimation (Via Funimation’s blog / Facebook.

Funimation has 10 titles this season according to their blog, and 3 of them are most likely DB Kai, Date A Live II, and the new Fairy Tail.

Added Daimidaler to Funimation streams.

Added Kamigami no Asobi to Crunchyroll streams.

Yeah, I posted that awhile ago.
I also just added Mushi-shi as well.

-edit-
also just added selector infected WIXOSS, though FUNi seems to have exclusive NA streaming like they did with NO-RIN.

-edit 2-

And CR removed one of the TBD boxes on the lineup page http://www.crunchyroll.com/lineup

Leaving it with 3 TBD boxes currently.

Though it’s really early in the announcement season, so it’s almost assured more will be added later.

-edit 3-
And now that 1 box reappeared with 4 more TBD boxes added.

OK. All updated. Sorry didn’t realize you edited your original post. Been updating on my mobile on my breaks at work.

Kind of amusing, since you actually quoted my initial post that stated I would edit that post with the rest of the announcements.
But it’s all good.

I just didn’t feel like posting a bunch of times in this thread with each individual announcement, which keeps it more “clean”.

Given the difficulties with accessing their service, I would have thought that Funi-exclusive streaming of shows is something that Funi would be shying away from. Though now I know not to look for it over at the more-accessible Crunchy (I bet its easier to stream a show on crunchy from Somalia than to watch the same show through Funi’s failing service).

I usually watch the funimation shows I’m interested in on Hulu.
(Although I have to wait a week and commercials)

I do the same thing and just Hulu queue up the Funimation shows I want to see. The commercials on Hulu actually have gotten a little better than they were in the past. Heck, I still remember the good old days when they lasted no longer than 30 seconds.

Back on topic I think I know what 6 of the 7 TBD’s on the CR Spring Stream Page are (The other 3 Aniplex, and the 3 announced Sentai titles)

All of which are pretty much a given, since Aniplex puts almost all of their simulcasts on CR and Sentai stopped using TAN as their simulcasting service awhile ago.

If you include Blade & Soul that accounts for all 7.

However, Sentai still has 5(+) series to announce ( 4(+) if you assume Blade & Soul as a guarantee ) and CR always adds more boxes throughout the announcements, so there is definitely more boxes to come yet.

The other ones I can see getting announced on CR are:

NTV
● La corda d’oro -Blue Sky-
● The World Is Still Beautiful (Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii)

YTV
(shorts)
● Encouragement of Climb S2
● Magica Wars

(possibly the full lengths)
● Brynhildr in the Darkness
● The File of Young Kindaichi Returns

Fuji Creative Corporation
● Ping Pong The Animation

Media Factory (unless FUNi picked them up)
● Seikoku no Dragonar
● No Game, No Life

Depends on who has international Rights though, If Gonzo (The Studio) it could go to Funimation, If TBS, it’ll go to Sentai, If NC Soft (The IP owner) then it may not get licensed…

I’m pretty sure it’s a TBS title.
That being said, if it’s a Gonzo title, there’s a good chance it’ll pop up on CR with a Sentai license, much like Dog & Scissors and Leviathan did.
It’s really rare for a game anime adaption to have the IP owner hold international rights, so that’s never really been a consideration for me.

Just like my previous post, I’ll edit this one if there’s more CR announcements today.

-edit-
There’s http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-844875/new-spring-titles-one-week-friends scheduled for today, but there might be more, since there was 3 scheduled for yesterday, and it winded up being 4.

Crunchyroll
● One Week Friends
● Blade and Soul
● La corda d’oro -Blue Sky-
● The World is Still Beautiful

-edit 1-
Blade and Soul added.
Interestingly enough, it’s from Dentsu Tec and not TBS.
I still think it’s a Sentai title though.

-edit 2-
Expected.

FUNimation
● Fairy Tail

-edit 3-
La corda d’oro -Blue Sky- added.

And one more CR to go for today.

-edit 4-
The World is Still Beautiful added.

And that wraps things up today for CR.
Also CR has 3 that are scheduled for tomorrow.

Added Blade and Soul to Crunchyroll Streams.

Added Fairy Tail to Funimation streams.

La Corda D’Oro Blue Sky and the World is Still Beautiful added to Crunchyroll Streams.

Looking at the ep. air times on http://anichart.net/spring

I’d say these two will probably be on tomorrows CR announcements.

● The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior
● The Irregular at Magic High School

At this point, it’s hard to say what else might be up for announcing tomorrow, but let’s take a stab at it.

● Haikyuu!! (since Sentai already announced it)
● Riddle Story of Devil (Akuma no Riddle) (if it’s a Showgate title and FUNi doesn’t have it)
● Love Live! S2 (CR already has the first season and NISA has licensed it)
● Baby Steps (announced streaming in France by ADN)
● Seikoku no Dragonar (it’s a Media Factory title, unless FUNi picked it up)
