How could one company so thoroughly destroy a license to print money when they first acquired it?
Disney’s biggest failure was half assing and not having a set story for the sequel trilogy. The narrative basically fell apart . When the historians gather around the Glow Lamp in the future, They will say “This was the beginning of the end of Star Wars”

What gets me is there was plenty of well thought out stories from Comics and Novels they could have used to continue the story.
Vast majority of those were made non-canon now.
