My family deals around food mostly meat processing. I can tell some horror stories I’ve seen long before it gets to anyplace. It’s a great wonder I still eat chicken.

My grandmother used to go to a live chicken place. I was just a kid, but I do remember how dirty it was. And the smell! Not too many of those places around anymore, thankfully.
Strangely, the one she used to go to was next to a funeral home…
