It can be worse, much worse.
My Great Grandfather was well know for his “One Set of Long Johns” for the fall / winter and one for the spring / summer. Of course those timed out with his twice annual baths. This was in the late 1800’s, so he was actually close to being in line with a large chunk of the general population.

My grandfather would mention that when he was a child, they would average more than a week between bathing.
However it’s still scary that with the advent of indoor plumbing, nearly half of the people that were surveyed don’t change their skippies daily…
I mean, I guess that’s where the dirty slob anime fan sterotype comes from, huh?
