Those are bullet proof glasses. No on shots the ear.
What if there were no hypothetical questions?

Ok, being a nerd/geek, I’ll bite! Hypothetical questions are a wonderful way to begin thought “experiments” in science. For instance, Newton “saw the apple fall”, and hypothetically asked if the force acting on the apple was the same force keeping the moon in orbit. So, I’d say that a bunch of our great scientific discoveries would never have happened.
Simply put there’d be no reason to think.

My answer: To make farts smell like roses after you wipe.

The same thing with overdraft protection. Don’t you love how they charge $30 when you overdraw your account by 30 cents. Though my new checking account at ING Direct only charges you a small interest rate if you overdraw your account. I did it once on mistake by about $1.30. The overdraft fee came to about 5 cents.

Enough with the fancy explanations. The simple answer is this, because they are mean.

It’s not because they are mean, it’s because they are a “for profit” business. I’m not saying the amount charged is fair or anything, but I can say it’s not about being mean.

I should re-read the question before thinking through an entire answer in the wrong direction. ![]()
