Japanese online retailer Premium Bandai is now taking pre-orders for the “Princess Serenity Full Dress” until Friday, May 30 at 10 PM Japan Standard Time, which are expected to be ready for shipment in July. In case you’re not familiar with Princess Serenity’s characteristic outfit, here are a couple of images to jog your memory:
The dresses are the result of Bandai’s collaboration with fashion brand Riccimie New York’s “Premiere Salon” line of high quality items. And with the amount of exquisite detail on each dress, it’s no wonder they need a few months to manufacture each piece.
The only drawback of the dress is its 108,000 yen (US$1,059) price tag. But if you’re really a reincarnated moon princess in disguise, you shouldn’t be too strapped for cash in the first place, right?*

Shadow Play Girls and a Stained Glass Design! Revolutionary Girl Utena iPhone 5/5s Shell Jackets Announced

Since its broadcast in 1997, Revolutionary Girl Utena still captures the hearts of young boys and girls thanks to the characters and the scrupulously beautiful story by director Kunihiko Ikuhara and the rest of the cast. Now, four types of iPhone 5/5s shell jackets of scenes from the series have been announced. These will be released by Gourmandise on July 24.
Several Utena cases have gone on sale previously, but it can be said that the characteristic of these cases are their high reproduction of scenes from the anime. The cases are PC hard-type jackets with strap holes on the side. Each case costs 2,000 yen (excluding tax).
This version features the phrase “The Revelation of Absolute Destiny” in big text in Japanese across the back of the jacket. There’s even a carved rose mark on the jacket’s pink body!
This composition shows Utena and Anthy staring at each other. There are surely many who are reminded of the beautiful dueling scene from this jacket.
Two Shadow Play Girls from the series who are also tellers of fables. It’s almost like you can hear them saying “I wonder, I wonder, I wonder if they know.” The design is perfect and it’s likely to be an item by which fans denote their fandom.
A luxurious stained glass design. Utena’s hair and Anthy’s crimson red dress are transparent. Wouldn’t it make a great present for guys who like Utena?
These rose-motif earphone jack charms from Gourmandise will also release on Aug. 6. They come in two types, soft pink and vivid pink, and each one costs 680 yen (excluding tax).
