Upotte‼

That’s weird, especially as my preferred way to watch CR is on my Logitech Revue.

Ahhh, we so now know the identity of one of the eight people who actually bought a Revue.

Also, it doesn’t appear to be just an Android issue. It was also pulled from their iOS app, so it appears to be an issue with all mobile platforms.

Yes, Cody, I did buy one-last February, from Computer Geeks, at $99.95. Now it sells for $94.95, but it does everything I want it to-I can watch CR and TAN OP (via Chrome) on my big screen in the living room.

No offense was intended Newshawk. It was more a comment on how many do those were shipped to retailers and how hard places like Best Buy pushed it. The store I worked initially received 50 of them. We only averaged sales of 1.5 a week, even when it was marked down. It even had its own endcap and multiple displays in stores., and at one point it was selling for only $50. They ended up sending a ton back right after manufacturing of them was discontinued.

It wasn’t a comment on the quality of the device, or what you could do with it. I was simply pointing out that the device never sold well and Logitech took a huge write off on it. I think it was largely due to poor and nearly absent marketing from Logitech.

What about the Sony Blu-Ray with Google TV, did that sell well?

I bought one recently. Only complaint I have is TAN’s player crashing Flash.

That didn’t sell much better, though some moved when it was part of a Sony TV bundle or was heavily marked down. We had stacks and stacks of those as well that really never went anywhere.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people complaining about flash crashes on Google TV devices lately. I wonder if it has to do with an update, or lack of one, especially with Adobe abandoning Flash for mobile devices.

Shak and I just finished ep. 1 of this series. Our reactions so far? “Just, what the hell?” Lolis (with apparent sexual desires) that are guns yet need to use guns to shoot guns, the fact that it’s never explained how they are in human form and why they attend school (an obvious first episode oversight), and a man who’s face is half in shadow the whole time. Also, how the hell do guns have sisters? Overall, it was confusing and uncomfortable to watch.

The lack of Android will make it even harder for me to get around to watching this as mobile streaming is how I watch much of my anime these days.

I was going to finally watch this after I watched the newest ep of Space Bros, but it wasn’t there :frowning:

This is a pointless restriction as I can still stream the shows on my Android devices via the web site, it is just less convenient. When faced with the choice of “Adapt or die” in regards to viewing methods, too many Japanese companies seem to prefer jumping on their swords to embracing change. Inconvenient legal viewing makes more convenient “illegal” viewing all that more appealing, but if they want to shoot themselves in the foot I can’t stop 'em.

I think it’s supposed to be a given that being a gun in human form means you can’t actually fire yourself… you would need an actual gun to accomplish any kind of shooting. A couple episodes in, you’ll come to the conclusion that…

(I don’t consider this a spoiler, because there’s really nothing here that’s happened in any episode I’ve seen so far, but… I better spoiler it anyway, just in case. I’m not sure what you would consider a spoiler and what you wouldn’t, so read at your own risk I guess?)

They are the guns that they fire… So should something happen to their gun, it would have an affect on them, and should something happen to them, it would affect their gun. So for example if one were to break their leg, that would break something somewhere on their gun… Sort of like a voodoo doll… only in gun form. That’s what I’ve gathered so far anyway…

As for how guns have sisters… I don’t think they’re sisters in the sense that people have sisters. As far as I can tell, it has something to do with either their country of origin, or their manufacturer. See, Funco is an FN FNC, manufactured by a company called FN Herstal in Belgium. Funco’s “sister” Fal, is an FN FAL, also manufactured in Belgium by FN Herstal.

Sort of like how a ship can have a “sister ship”. It doesn’t mean that they’re actually “sisters” (or that they’re sentient), but it means that the two ships are of the same class or design or manufactured together, or something like that… yeah. B)

I’m watching both.
Keeping current on CR and re-watching it on TAN. I’ll be doing the same with Mysterious Girlfriend X & Dusk Maiden of Amnesia as well.
Though it’ll be dificult to keep up until my jury duty is finished, hopefully some time next week.

I thought being a deity got you out of jury duty, Coffee…

I wish!
Then I wouldn’t have had to have been there for the past three weeks!

Silhouettes of anime’s 4 assault rifle/girls on handle with logo etched in blade

This series is just so ripe for quasi-military merchandising!

I wonder if Sentai has contacted FN USA, Sig Sauer, Colt or H&K about cross promotions…

I WANT ONE!!! I DON’T CARE ABOUT PRICE…

JUST TAKE MY MONEY!!!

I have one of those without all the fancy etchings and stuff on it… the same features and stuff and I think it cost around $25. Those seem to cost around $50, so good job Upotte!

Beach episode!
Only this time, you get mood whiplash.
At first, it’s all fluffy and fun, then at the drop of a hat, it turns all dramatic.
A new enemy appears, and opens fire on three of the junior high girls.
Rising to the challenge, the girls rush off to face this new Eastern evil.
