I got to the part when someone wanted me to collect pictures of a few dead people for some kind of trophy case (can’t remember the details). At some point during that gathering, I found a bunch of alcohol in a room and just drank all of it. After that, the game was extremely jumpy, like I’d move for one second, then the game would freeze for a second, then I could move, repeat.
Maybe there’s some scratch on the disc I can’t see, but like I said, I’ll try starting again. It’s a fun game, it’s not much of a problem.
Yes, do so. Also, fair warning: That guy, Sander Cohen, do not attack him in that level. Also, save the game immediately before finishing his quadtych. The reason for this is because sometimes he gets seen by a hacked camera and will be attacked by the security bots. Then he will end up aggro and dead, which you do not want.

The PS3 port got that content off the bat, since it was released a year after the initial release for the 360. And to make up for the wait, http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3170757.
Aha, I didn’t know about that. I had already had the game for a year by the time it came out on PS3, so that coupled with my not having a PS3 would explain why I hadn’t heard of it.
Just got a chance to interview the head guy related to Halo and the upcoming Halo Legends anime release - so I’m pretty excited about it.
Excerpt
Frank O’Connor is a development Director at Microsoft 343 Industries, a unit within Microsoft Game Studios that is responsible for the Halo franchise. O’Connor is at the core of the Halo Legends project with his involvement in the direction, script writing and working directly with the various involved Japanese studios.
With the imminent February 16 release of Halo Legends, SXAniMedia had the opportunity to catch up with Frank O’Connor for an exclusive and anime-slanted interview to discuss Halo Legends, as well as the involvement of J-Spec Pictures and Seraphim Digital (formerly ADV Studios/Amusement Park Media).
So I finally finished Bioshock 2 yesterday. To sum up my feelings in a nutshell, this game was a bit slow to start, but really picks up after a bit. Plenty of welcome improvements, though much of it feels very similar to the first. However, saying that it is similar to one of the greatest games this gen could hardly be called a negative.
While I am working on a full review, here are some of my main points (No Spoilers):
My Score: 9.0/10
The Good:
-Familiar feeling with welcome improvements
-New weapons and abilities make the action much more expansive
-Large, sprawling levels take plenty of time to explore in full
-Story is just as well done as the first
-Moral choices and consequences are more fleshed out this time
-Better endings (arguably) than the first
-Good pacing and action
-Great characters in this one, especially Eleanor and Sinclair
The Bad:
-A small bit of the magic of the first game seems to have been lost on this one
-No backtracking to previous levels
-Exploration feels more limited at first
-While Bioshock was also linear, this sequel FEELS more linear at times
-ADAM gathering segments, while fun, can start to feel repetitive
-What happened to the era music in-game?
Now I have started Mass Effect 2 (for PC). This game is ridiculously immersive. I can barely tear myself away from it. Loving it so far.
Good review, though I prolly wont get to it for a while, there are so many games coming out that I can hardly keep up! Still going through Dragon Age, havent even taken the shrink wrap off of heavy rain of White Knight Chronicles, then Battlefield Bad company 2 comes out next week, then FFXIII…someone send help!
I just picked up the God of War Collection(1 and 2) for the PS3. I’ve heard such great things about the franchise, so I figured I’d get ready for the new God of War III on April 1st. The graphics for the GoW Collection are great, and the game is awesome.
I’ve also been watching “The Tester” on PS3 Network. It’s a reality show that has 11 gamers fighting to become Sony’s next game tester. It’s pretty cool if you like gaming and reality, and its free to download. They only have the first 2 episodes up and it’s around 20 minutes an episode.

Accurate depiction.
But in all seriousness, ME2 is ridiculously awesome. I probably put about 40-50 play hours in on it within two weeks of its release.
Played through fully twice, started on a third but then random.mmo I play got new content so I’ve been busy with that.
Though, the third time I’m having some fun and messing with settings for guns and all of that. It’s good times.

Has anyone played Heavy Rain? I really enjoyed the demo and I’ve really been looking forward to it. It definitely has some unique game play.
I started downloading this about 5 minutes ago. How long did it take you to download the demo? It’s saying around 3 hours for me. That seems a little long, is it the game?

Doesn’t God of War 3 come out on March16th? Or did they just recently push it back?
I guess it is coming out on the 16th. I just looked at wiki and GoW III’s website, and it says March 16th. For some reason, Game Daily says April 1st. Thanks for the heads up Cody.

It’s a good year to be a gamer with a job or parents, bad for the college student gamer. Such torturous times, I have to settle with one or two. :’(
God of War 3, Mass Effect 2, Heavy Rain, Dante’s Inferno, MW2, Bioshock 2, HG/SS, probably forgetting some others too… F*CK. At least next season isn’t looking as busy so I can just focus on the one or two awesome games, namely Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Fallout New Vegas.
I also just picked up the GoW Collection, did you happen to get it at Walmart for $30, slick? I already own both games for the PS2, but I wanted to be able to play them on my PS3 up in college. Plus better graphics and trophies and such.

The demo is in a huge file. Unfortunately it’s not that long of a demo to make up for download time, but it gives you a gist of what to expect from the gameplay. Looks like a brilliant game.

$29.99 at K-Mart, so same price. It only took about an hour and a half. Weird game(Heavy Rain), only checked out a little bit of it.

One of my initial gripes with Heavy Rain while I was playing the demo was the controls, specifically howcon they have you walk (holding down R2). Why they couldn’t just keep it conventional and have pressing forward on the analog stick make you walk forward is beyond me, but I got used to it eventually. Otherwise, controls were solid and felt natural to me.

I have to point out, since the PS3’s clock set itself to 1999, Sony was right. The PS3 can travel in time. I guess they WERE right about 4D!
I heard that caused some of them to temporally brick themselves. Seems to be worse on some of the B/C fat ones. Sony looks to be working on it though.
Earlier,I saw some people online were saying Sony said not to start your PS3 if you have the older model(non-slim). I didn’t turn it on until a little while ago. My date actually says it’s still 2-28-2010. I wonder if that is how they fixed the problem(By setting the date back). No big deal, but I couldn’t turn on my PS3 most of the day. I just shut my system off. I don’t need my PS3 blowing up at midnight. I won’t turn it back on until I recieve feedback from PS.

I’ve got a Slim, so mine wasn’t affected. I still couldn’t connect to PSN though.
hello have you guys ever played super mario 2
Yeah, it was an odd one. Weird how it changed style for the second Mario game, much like the second Zelda game changed styles drastically, only to go back to top-down.
I have the slim as well, so no problems here. How come you can’t sign in online? I’ve been having no problems.
Super Mario two was actually a completely different game in Japan, can’t remember the name of it now though, but basically Nintendo of America thought that the real Mario 2 in Japan was too hard for Americans, and took this other game and put Mario character graphics in it.

Yeah, that was my bad. I just remembered that I haven’t switched my PS3 to a wireless connection yet. Back at school I can only use Ethernet, and I just got back.
They call it The Lost Levels here in the U.S. I’ve got a “copy” of it on my All-Stars game of the SNES.
