By the backlog alone, if we go that each of the 797 titles in the backlog are a minimum of 13 episodes each, that’ll like nearly half of year of non-stop viewing 24/7. Have you discovered the secret of creating money at will and putting more than 24 hours in a day

My backlog is currently 0 and generally stays somewhere around there as I usually watch things shortly after I get them. I do maybe have a short backlog for maybe a week or two if I order multiple series at a time though. As far as number of titles DVDAF says I have 846 (1,583 discs) which would be DVD and BD combined. I don’t really have time to weed out the BDs out of that, definitely later when I’m not so tired though. I’m guessing it’s about 30, only since I don’t care too much about high definition and would rather just pay less for the DVD. I have a lot of combo sets though, a few releases that were BD only, and some international/imported BDs which had English subtitles.
EDIT: I was close: 28 titles are Blu-ray or combo packs.
You might be surprised at how fast some people can plow through a series though. It only takes about 6 hours to watch a 13 episode series and 12 for me to watch a 26 episode one. Both can be done in a day. I could even watch two 13 episode shows in a single day and start the next one while still getting a decent amount of sleep. If I recall correctly I think I watched all 74 episodes of Monster in like 2 and 1/2 days. B)

Unlike Sentai and Funimation, Bandai and the other other distribution companies (Manga Entertainment and Media Blasters) do not have their own dubbing studio so they contracted out to independent dubbing companies like Bang Zoom, Blue Water, Ocean Group, and my personal favorite New Generation Pictures, which are still around as far as I know and didn’t go down with Bandai. You might still hear them around.
